Tony Romo sure enjoys playing to the fans. He interrupted his quasi-press conference at midfield to pump his fist in response to fans chanting his name.

Romo also changed the play call on the long TD to T.O. He knew the 7-on-7 session was about to end, and he wanted to give the crowd a little excitement.

"Let's run a 9 here," Romo told the coaches before hitting T.O. in stride.

The crowd roared, reaching a decibel level higher than any induced by Rowdy's ridiculousness.

Ya, glad Romo performed well on 7 on 7 with no pads or hitting... every QB should hit his WRs this way... I know it's the start of TC and everyone is excited... BUT...

Lets see what he does when the bullets start flying and there is some pressure put on him...

that Romo report is 100% accurate. Romo also signed autographs until about 5:16 PM (about 45 minutes after practice ended and all of the players were in the locker room). I actually got scared for Romo. The media and fans mobbed him a few times when he was signing - almost to the point he had to be rescued by security. The fans were absolutely rabid for Romo.

so, it is stupid to think that a QB SHOULD hit his WRs with no pressure and very loose coverage?

lol or is it stupid to be excited about the team and get a little carried away...

Either way, the comment was a little far off...

No it's stupid to complain about fans being excited that the QB is hitting his WR in "loose coverage"

To sit here and act like fans are gonna be like, yea let's wait for the season before we talk about how good he looks. Is stupid

Fans have craved football for months. Your little reasoning is pointless and stupid

hence the post

The fans not getting excited about Romo hitting T.O. in stride on a deep pass with "loose coverage" can always turn to Oprah or The View until September :D
