Romo is the only Dallas player to take every QB snap in a season

Was it worth it? I don't think so, but I'm glad he is playing so well. The two interceptions he had in the last two games were both tipped balls and not his fault. I hope his back in fine. He is playing out of his mind right now.

A nice stat but Romo should have really been taken out of the game near the end. Why risk losing him???

In 30 years, it will be worth it, today it was not.

I guessing this will be a hot topic this week. Pretty much the opposite of what the Colts did. Interesting...

My exact sentiments. I think Garrett dislikes the Eagles. He wanted to hang 31 on them.

I think Romo coming back in after taking the hit was all about leadership and showing that that hit wouldn't keep him down. I think the last thing he wanted was to be taken out and have that be his final play of the regular season.

Around the 10 minute left mark he should have put his cap on and sat down. Let Kitna get in some reps and avoid taking a hit. Sure enough he got hit/shoved on the obviuos late hit that wasn't called. I really couldn't give a crap less about taking every snap.

Yeah I do think there may have been something psychologically at play there, like they wanted to send a clear message to Philly that they couldn't knock him out. It's kind of like that scene in V for Vendetta where V lets those guards shoot him about 50 times, takes a knee from the pain, and then gets back up and kills all of the guys one by one. He probably could have started attacking beforehand, but he sent a better message the other way.

I think that had more to do with it, quite honestly, then taking every snap. I think it was about Romo showing he is the leader, it's his team, and he won't let something take him away from the team. My hat is off to Romo for his toughness and how he's taken hold of this team and become the leader everyone wanted him to be.

Did you guys see how he got on Deon Anderson for that hold that cost them a big run by Felix? I'm telling you the way he's taking charge is just beautiful.

I think it was more about "finishing the fight" from the embarrassment last year than it was about setting a record for playing every play. The way we've played the Eagles this year, I think Romo and the entire team had this game circled on the calendar since the schedule was released.

And I'm sure they've got 8PM next Saturday circled on their calendar as well.

Technically speaking, isn't Choice considered a QB when he lines up in the Razorback?

Also, when Romo splits wide in the Razorback formation, he's a wide out.

Sounds strange to say that the guy who took every QB snap also played a little WR.

Anyway, I'm on board with the decision to let Romo play the whole game. Yesterday was not the day for a coach to reign in Romo.
