Romo isn't on the Pro Bowl Ballot!

I just was on the NFL.com website and saw the link for Pro Bowl voting, so I decided I'd clickity click and vote for Romo.

Imagine my shock when I didn't see his name on the ballot!!! Bledsoe is still listed! Now I like Drew just fine and all, but come on! How in the world is the best QB in the NFL supposed to make the Pro Bowl when is isn't even on the freaking ballot????

Is there anyway we can launch a campaign to correct this injustice?

I guess they never assumed that a backup would make the Pro Bowl. He didn't become a starter until after the voting started.

And it's a scary thought: Maybe the poll was constructed a month ago and presupposed the Pro Bowl contenders? Some folks there might have had their favorites in mind early on without thought to how players (and 'newcomers') play the whole season.

Listen, it's a probably a simple Javascript application. How tough can it be to replace Bledsoe with Romo? Parcells didn't seem to have much trouble doing it.

Seriously, though, given all the Romo man-love around here I'm shocked more people are outraged about this.

Well, realistically if he makes the pro-bowl this year, he causes a bigger cap impact before we can sign him to a multi-year deal....which in to days NFL is something to seriously consider.

I can tell you why Romo is not on the ballot. Much like all the Drewpie's they are a bunch of Romophobe's!

i think its because he hasnt taken most of the snaps at quarterback yet, once he does they will put him in there

I think you have to start the season in order to be eligiable... There's a possibility that he COULD get voted by the coaches...

Not so... like I said earlier, Leinart (and Gradkowski) are both on the ballot.

I think all it takes is making someone aware of the omission and it will be corrected. Just a matter of who to tell.
