Is that what you were doing to me when you claimed Hasselbeck had a better SB performance than Eli? :laugh2:

I just threw his name out there. I dont remember much about that SB except that the Stealers benefited from some calls and Seattle prob should have won that game. I would prob argue that Hasselback was better in that game then Big Ben was tho.

Even tho I rooted for E-Lie in both of his SB wins, I've never really been all that impressed with him. We just have different opinions on him.

That's your problem you just throw things out there without doing any research and end up looking silly. If you want to be taken seriously research the facts first before you post. Google can be your friend if you're looking for facts and your worst enemy if you post a lot of nonsense. Hasselbeck was better than Ben that day it was the Steelers defense that won the game. By the way it's spelled "Hasselbeck." :)

Some things are just thrown out there - thats most of the stuff posted here on CZ.

I dont need to research this stuff. I watch for enjoyment. Its not like Im doing a grad school project posting here. I watch and form an opinion based on what I see happening on the field. Stats are just part of it, they dont tell the whole story. Simply watching allows you to get a feel for things inspite of the stats or outcome.

Obviously, stats and outcome are important, its why the games are played. But, at the same time the eye test can tell you a lot. The guy with the better stats and team accomplishments isnt always the better player.

Funny pic but it might not look so funny later on tonight wish you would have waited until after the game to post it.
KJJ = Kill Joy Jester. This is a light-hearted fun thread and you come up with this response? Hopefully you'll be happy for a change after tonight's game.

He's been too busy defending E-Lie all week to be happy :D

Of course it's a light hearted fun thread all I'm saying is hopefully it's as fun after the game as it is now. You have to admit it's unlikely many if any Cowboy fans are going to be bumping this thread up and laughing at if the Cowboys lose.

Some fans like to trash talk and post funny pics prior to games to get everyone fired up there's certainly nothing wrong with that but more times than not it tends to backfire. Hopefully that won't be the case tonight.

Your thinking too hard. Try having fun every once in a while.

If you're just going to throw stuff out there you shouldn't engage in debates or you'll end up getting slammed with facts as you found out. lol If you want to be taken seriously you need to get the facts straight before you post. If you're going to form an opinion and argue it at least provide something to strengthen your position. Everyone has an opinion but an opinion alone doesn't mean it has merit.

Speaking of Eli what did you think of his performance today? Let's see if you can actually give an honest, unbiased opinion. lol

If he plays great and Romo doesn't you'll be right. RG3 is a very talented QB who was voted into the Pro Bowl as a rookie. You seem to think I dislike Romo and you're even more wrong about that than you were about Hasselbeck having a better SB than Eli. Romo is an excellent QB but he has to show up and play his best football in the games that matter most. The bottom line is QB's are judged by how they perform in games like tonight. This is a critical game for Romo at this stage in his career.

So, if the Cowboys lose tonight, it will be Romo's fault?

If RG3 wins tonight it will be because of him?

If Romo wins tonight it will be because of him?

If RG3 loses tonight it will be because of him?

Got it...

I guess the other guys on the team do not matter, huh?

I'm not him...but, my answer would be that the Giants team played great tonight!

Not sure why his team has sucked so bad in other games.

I knew you wouldn't be far behind. lol Looks like I have everyone in a panic. :laugh2: Don't worry everyone I don't believe in jinxes it's bad luck.

The play of the QB's is going to have a big impact on who wins tonight. Neither the Cowboys or Washington will win if either QB plays poorly. If RG3 doesn't play well the Cowboys will win. If Romo plays well the Cowboys could still lose because the defense is having issues as we saw last week. Ware is injured and probably wouldn't even be playing if this game didn't have the season riding on it.

Romo played great last week but the Cowboys still lost because the defense couldn't get NO off the field on 3rd down. Regardless of how good Romo plays if the defense looks anything like it did last week they'll lose.

Thanks, bro.

Now, that is an honest answer and exactly how I feel.

(if we only had Eli this game is in the BAG)!!

I flipped over to the Texans/Colts game after it was 21-0.

What I saw up to that point was a pitiful Philly team and E-Lie torching them.

Was it all E-Lie, or the poor performance by the Philly D?

Dont really care.

When E-Lie plays well he plays well. That to me is never the issue. Its his absolutely bonehead plays and awful performances that tell the real story with E-Lie. Really good QB's dont make the bonehead plays he does - especially this far into a career. The bonehead plays are the reason that E-Lie will never be an elite QB in my objective unbiased opinion. The good overshadows the good when it comes to him being elite or not.
