Brilliant analysis. Called every moment perfectly.

Why would he ever want to do that. He works a paltry number of hours a week and gets 10mil per year to do it. Coaches, even head coaches make good money but, they have to work 80-90 hours per week to get it. Romo has young children and wants to be a dad to them.

I never planned to watch that game until I realized Romo was calling it. He makes a game worth watching. CBS was so smart to sign this guy. I hope he never leaves that booth unless he wants to do some coaching for the Cowboys.

Completely agree with your logic, but no way he makes $10m a year from CBS, right? Nantz is rumored to make around $7m and I would assume that includes all the other sports he covers. I would guess $4m for Romo, but curious what you based your number on.

father time is undefeated.. as much as I had confidence he could still play and he had the desire; ultimately he knows his body better than anyone. i firmly believe now he is done or else he would be on a roster somewhere

Yeah, I noticed that, too, E. Nantz is clearly enjoying himself with Romo. Asking him what the next play will be. Romo even jokingly asked Natnz what the next play would be and Nantz laughed and deferred to Tony.

They already have superb chemistry.

Now don't get me wrong, I like Romo, but a super bowl caliber QB can cover up a mediocre defense. eg Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers. He always had plenty of weapons: TO, Barber, Witten, Murray, Dez.I really felt the 2014 squad was special, but you can't beat the Packers and the replay officials.
