Just a tit for tat...they get to ruin threads without consequences, so I thought it would be Ok for me to do it. I guess not...so forgive me.

OK.

There is nothing to forgive. I guess it is what it is but it would be nice if we just saw a bunch of Ataboys rather then the inevitable back and forth.

You got it, as long as the tit for tat stops entirely...

That kinda stuff doesn't foster good threads. It just helps to bring them down.

Either way, it's still a good thing for Romo...and I think his national rep might've improved even with the INT.

Yeah, right...lol. Until he wins a ring is what I have heard. But, yes, he showed the NFL what he can really do, If only he had a defense.

He's been universally praised by all the media folks I follow on twitter. The INT broken down about as thorough as it has been on here. I'd guess that they all believe he needs some playoff wins in his belt. But overall, they thought he put on a helluva performance.

Well, I guess that tells you how much attention I pay to the media! But, as you said, for all the time that I have watched football, Romo's game is one for the ages and I was glad to watch that "helluva" performance.

Once the emotion wore off, people began put reason to what they saw.

Tony was.....perfect. Seemed like every throw was absolutely perfectly thrown all day.

That was one of the finest QBing performances you will see.

And our fan base is so blatantly idiotic, they put the blame on Romo.

Not all of the fan base, just the ones that don't like Romo, or think he is a "choke artist". Just one or two stops of Manning on defense, and Romo may never have to throw that Int. Or, if he did throw the int at the time he did, maybe the Cowboys would have been up by two scores and the int does not matter?

The proof is in the pudding. Look at Eli...two time SB champ, now an 0-6 chump. But he gets a pass...because some posters think football is linear when it's really dynamic, not static.

Not surprised, Romo was simply amazing. I've been watching football for a long time and I really can't remember seeing a performance like what Romo did and I expected him to win this award, well done Tony!

Well deserved. The only QB that is playing better than him overall is Peyton. As long as Callahan doesn't go dink and dunk mode for extended periods, Romo should be a Pro Bowler this year. In the NFC - Brees, Rogers, and Ryan are all in his rear view mirror.

His 13 TDs and 2 INTs is impressive. He'd only have 1 pick if TW ran the right route a few games ago. Tony is playing lights out and is having an MVP-calibre year.

You're the man, Romo. So proud to have you as my QB, a mistake is gonna happen at some point when your D never stops a team. Payton had a WAY worse pick than you.

Denver is pretty much putting up 50 points a game against everyone, so hard to blame our D for that.

Romo is playing great.. but enough with the "wrong route" stuff already. Tony doesn't need it..
