But, it didn't help. Any points left off the board are a problem. No matter what..

I applaud Romo for doing this. Nice job. It also gives the opposing team one more thing to worry about on FG's. That's always good.

I agree and that is why we are making the change. My only comment was that he has not missed a kick that cost us the game. That is a true statement

He missed vs Car we won the game, he missed vs KC we won the game he missed vs Sea we won the game, he missed in the Was we won the game. He also missed in the GB game but that game did not come down to a 3 or less point game nor did this past NY game.

As I said I before we need to correct this because while it has not directly cost us a game we can't afford to wait until it does cost us a game

The issue with missing kicks is momentum. It is such a boost to the other team mentally. Dallas made good drives on a few of those kicks to come away with zip and the other teams gets good field position as well.

In the Giants and Pack game I'd argue those kicks affected the game but not directly caused losses. Field Goals being made and 3 points on the board does alter situations a bit so hard to say what would have happened but they were hardly misses with the game on the line.

The important thing is we get it worked out and stop missing kicks. these games now are too important to risk them to spotty Field Goal execution.

I fully understand that I agree with that and want it fixed what I said was a true statement

Folk suggests gloves to Romo

Nick Folk remembers watching Tony Romo mishandle the snap in the playoff loss to Seattle in January 2007.

``It's obviously in the back of his mind but he's pretty good at forgetting about stuff,'' Folk said. ``It's something you don't need to think about. It sucks but it happens, for whatever reason.''

Folk also recalled how shiny that ball was. Largely because of the ensuing speculation that the K-ball was new, and more slippery, the NFL changed the rule on K-balls before the 2007 season. Instead of rotating the 12 balls designated as K-balls for each game, one ball is used.

``I told him, `If you need me to bring out a glove or something to wear' he can throw it on real quick,'' Folk said. ``Whatever he feels comfortable with. But I know he feels pretty confident with his own hands. We're indoors this week it will be a good little start.''

I agree. Folk has not cost us a game it is not as in the games he has missed FG they turned out the be the difference in the game. But with the teams ahead of us I think you do what you got to do. So while I'm not crazy about Romo doing it I think right now he is the best person for the job. It is not like Dallas has not tried others to do the job they did and McBrair ended up with the job.

I would agree that no one player costs a team a game in a team sport but his missed FGs have hurt us badly. We had momentum in the Packer game, he missed and boomed, the small market parasites came back to win, he missed a big FG against the Commanders the could have cost us and then he missed last week a makeable FG that would have changed the game around and made it 21-20.

I'm not disagreeing with that yes you want to put up points. What I said was true sorry but not one missed kick DIERECTLY has been the differance of in any game we have lost. I'm not excusing Folk and the FG situations it needs to be corrected.

how about we get someone who knows how to run a football team. This shouldn't even be an issue.

So we should get rid of Coach-D, because after all he's in charge of running the FG kicking game? Right...

no, I like Coach D. how about a real gm or hc who can find someone other than the 70 million dollar franchise qb to hold for a freaking fg.
