Romo just got interviewed by Rome and the emails are well....it's all good! One thing that stood out was Romo's response to how he felt about the whole botched hold last year. "I felt bad for the other guys...I knew I would get over it but I felt bad for the guys...they worked hard all year." ...paraphrasing a bit. Rome continues to say Romo gets it and has "it". Rome "he is grounded". Also Romo says, "If the worst thing that happend to me is during a sporting event then I've live a good life." Rome goes on to say that "Brady and New England is one thing but to be as good and flashy on the field as Romo for a storied franchise like the Cowboys is supernova!"

Great interview! From 30+ scramble to the botched snap...Rome was very impressed with Romo's responses. Aparently so were the millions and millions of minions all over the world.

Man I wish I had caught that.
You have to have a paid membership to Rome's website to download his podcasts.

I'm sure someone out there will have the recap. They spoke about the usual...30+ scramble and botched snap but Rome was very impressed with the responses. Rome is receiving a lot of positive emails about Romo.

Jim Rome is one of the sportscasters I least like...Actually, I much prefer his earlier incarnation when he was Jim 'Chrissie Everett' Rome to the current 'Jungle' tool.

I will say this about Rome, when he cuts out the colorful nonsense and butt kissing, he can conduct a decent interview...All too often, though, it's a lovefest that is hardly insightful let alone interesting

Nahhh...nothing about contract talks. They had to cut it short because Romo needed to practice. I'm thinking he was in the locker room...you could hear the players in the background.

You have to be a Jim Rome Junkie ($6.95/month) to get them.

I caught the end of the interview. Romo really didn't say anything more than we've read a hundred times.

But the reaction from Rome was great! After the interview he referred to Romo several times and said the guy just has "it". He said he has "it" coming out of his ears! He gave a lot of credit to the Cowboys and said they definitely are America's Team and that it's one thing for Tom "GQ" Brady to win SBs with the Pats, but if Romo wins a SB as QB for America's Team, he will be in another league. He said Romo will be a "Super Nova"! He went on and on about how good this guy is and how cool he is to make plays like the one Sunday when the ball was snapped over his head.

All in all it was a lot of love for Romo.

Tony Romo may be the biggest personality at QB since Joe Namath.

He takes Dallas to the house is soon linked to the greats in Canton. He breaks on the rack, I bet he runs the table!
