Who is the better QB?

i saw this on another message board and Leinart has like 8 votes, and Romo has 1

Next question is who will end up the better QB?

While I think that Leinart is going to be a really good QB in this league... I am more than willing to see this thing through with Romo...

Leinart greatness may not be realized until he is off the Cardinals and onto a real team.

I won't participate in the comparison as I'll be labeled a homer...

Anyone can do a search on this board and find where I said Leinart will not be a dominant QB in this league.

I don't wish anything bad on him, I just see him as average...

Romo. What's Leinart done other than play for USC and get labeled an NFL star before he's ever done a thing in this league?

LOL

I never really thought much of Plummer... I remember hearing that Bill Walsh pressured the 49'ers to take him instead of Drunkenmiller.... maybe, just maybe he would have faired better in San Fran at the time... from what I have seen I dont think so.... but who knows... it is about the organization and the way you grow a QB....

IMO all the Broncos/Shanahan did was have Jake throw less which led to less INT's... as soon as he started to throw to win games... they lost, lost bad... see playoff game a few years back

I think Leinart will be better than Snake

Not really. The year Kurt Warner came from nowhere to instant stardom people kept waiting for the real Kurt Warner to show up.

It's natural.

I agree with that, but I also believe that the better USC quarterback will be Carson Palmer by the end of their respective careers.

Yeah... I thought that at one point... I need to see Carson play one more year....

Carson reminds me of Aikman(not as good, but still reminds me)
Leinart reminds me of Steve Young(not just the lefty thing either)

It's hard to say who is better. Neither has even started one entire season. Comparisons that early in their careers doesn't make much sense to me. Give them a few years and it will be much more clear who is better. Reminds me of the Merriman vs. Ware comparisons after their rookie year.

Yeah I saw that too... I would not be against the deleting of those types of replies. If the topic is not worth discussing then it will fall off the first page.

Lienart may be as good as Romo in a year or two. It might happen, but it'll take him a good deal of work just like it took Romo.

I'd take Leinart any day of the week over Romo. His upside is far greater. But Ill also take AZ WR's over ours too.. Boldin/Fitzgerald/Johnson are going to put up numbers this year.. again.

Leinart's upside is probably a QB rating in the 95 range. Romo did that in his first season starting. Most QBs will never come close to that range.
