I mean Blaine Gabbert is worse than all of them by a country mile.

He's doing that Deion Sanders right now. Lol.

Over a year ago, I posted this thread:

http://cowboyszone.com/threads/romo-or-rgiii.248559/

Asking would you trade Romo for RGIII straight up, obviously ignoring any cap implications. Surprisingly, the board seemed to be split down the middle. Both have had career threatening injuries since then, so:

Would you trade Romo straight up for RGIII right now?
Who cares? It's not going to happen, and Romo is not taking us anywhere. We don't know what RG111 will do, he just completed his 2nd year after a MAJOR knee surgery that obviously affected him last season, but we do know what Romo can do. Keep us mediocre.

Let's not and say we did.

Two times in one year is two times too many IMO.
Yeah, we don't really know do we? And we're hoping he sucks forever, because if he gets things figured out, we'll be the scum of the NFCE for years to come.

RG3 problem last year, as was clear to most people, was his inability to go through his progressions. The knee was the excuse for his defenders, especially by the end of the season. The only advantage he would have in the Garrett non-offense is he can take off with the ball. Romo has essentially abandoned it for no good reason whatsoever.

Romo didn't start until his 4th year, ask us this question in RGlll's 4th year.

Romo did not have the pedigree and never played a real game until his 4th year. Romo was not on a Division 1 College team

It's funny seeing ufc practically don a Commanders jersey for 29 pages of the original thread in his worship of RGKnee. I would say it's embarrassing, but it's business as usual for that guy.

It's also funny seeing Skins fans and Cowboys fans alike wax poetic about how bright the Skins future was. 3-13, baby.

Dang, just because Romo got a broke back doesn't mean he can't still ball, he just may have a hobble now, but I just call it his swag limp. :D

To answer your question, you'd literally have to pay ME to take RG3 as my QB, unless Washington is willing to give up their next 10 first rounders packaged with him then it wouldn't happen ..... Though they did give up the farm to get him, so maybe they're dumb enough to do that deal?

I don't like RG3. At all. Not just his game but the way he acts off the field. I would hate our future to be on his shoulders. Now if you would've said luck, cam, Wilson, kaepernick, or any other up-and-comers; I would say yes.

I would do the trade. Personally I think I would be optimistic the future is secure. The present sucks and the future won't have Romo in it. RG3 is a better QB prospect than the others coming out and is akin to the #1 overall pick. I love Romo and Romo is better than RG3 right now but he won't be a year or two from now IMO.
RG3s health concerns me but his growth trajectory and improvement over the next few years to me is not in question. He will be very good to outstanding if the knee stays healthy.
