Romo or Vick?

With all the other crazy threads out there, might as well take a crack at this one.

We all know Jerry has a passion for the dramatic and Vick would fit the bill for that.

As far as comparing the two, both have the ability to put the ball on the ground, both have the ability to throw it downfield, both have the ability to scramble and make plays with their feet.

Vick is more likely to break a 50 yard run. Tony is more likely to hit the TE in stride streaking down the field.

I think we could have both as Vick won't command a boatlaod of money, probably the 1-2 million per year range to start with. He's still young and will obviously have a desire to perform at a high level.

From what I understand, he could be out of the pen as early as July. I say why not!

Vick will be a WR when he comes back .. Maybe a KR/PR if he still has some wheels. If you dont use that quick twitch , you lose it.

He might be an emergency QB or maybe even a number #2 if an owner takes a chance.

With that said, he can't be worse than Brad Johnson.

Even if he did end up in Dallas it would not accomplish anything. Vick won't help Dallas win championships. He had his chance and never showed he could be a consistently good passer which he needed to do to be a truly good QB.

For what it's worth, Vick's criminal past was in large part driven by the media. Without it, he skates. I'm not saying its right that he might have got away with it, but I also believe that he didn't think it was such a serious offense. Whereas everybody knows shooting, or telling somebody to shoot an murder a person is as serious as it gets.

Don't forget, Ray Lewis never did any time.. and people love him.

I'm not saying its right that he might have got away with it, but I also believe that he didn't think it was such a serious offense. Vick did time because dog fighting is illegal, whether he thought it was a serious offense or not. What the media did was put the spot light on him because he is/was a celebrity.
