I know that it is a different game than when Roger and Danny played and that Troy didn't have to throw much in the 2nd half, but Tony's assault on so many team passing records still amazes me.

Face it people, we are watching GREATNESS in action.

Yes, it's a different offense than what we have had in the past, but the bottom line is that he is GETTING THE JOB DONE!

Like I said before, it won't surprise me if he is the best Cowboy QB this franchise has ever had when it is all said and done.

Tony definately has the potential to become the best. It is just amazing to watch him every week. Meredith, Staubach, White, Aikman, and now Romo. Not bad for a franchise that has not reached its 45th B-day. We as Cowboy fans should realize just how spoiled we are we it comes to the QB position:D

Oh geeze, seeing Dannys stats reminds me of my love hate relationship with him in the 80s. He worked so hard and took a ton of grief for it. Congrats Tony, you came a long way Baby.

We've also been spoiled at the RB position for a long time as well....we still have yet to see how that plays out.

If JJ DOES move up to take McFadden, which I am not totally on board for yet, it just further muddies it up.

That is why he is my all-time favorite Cowboy. I know people don't remember him the way they do Roger or Troy, but Danny was a damn good QB. It is just sad that he had the worst luck. There was no player on those 80s teams that wanted to win more than Danny. Charlie Waters called him a "Cut-throat" winner. Trust me, I got frustrated with him sometimes. I think he tried too hard sometimes.:(

I desperately want the Cowboys to beat the Skins next weekend and if at all possible I'd also like to see Witten get his record, Barber get his record & would really love to see Romo get a season total of at least 40 TDs. That means Romo's gotta throw 4 TDs against the Skins, but it would be nice to see his name in the NFL record books along with Brady, Manning, Marino (2) & Warner as the only QBs with 40 or more TDs in a season.

Of course it would really be nice if the Bears somehow pulled off a major upset in Chicago against the Packers and their whining cheesehead fans. I use to believe the Packer fans had so much class. Well after reading their fan forums and their newspapers, their cheesehead fans rank among the most classless around.
