Also, I was speaking in terms of injuries in the NFL .. if you go back and look, most teams use "fracture" as a term for broken bones that are not displaced and do not require surgery.Eskimo;2334227 said:Broken bone is just a layman's term for fracture. I said you were right, that fracture = broken .. I was simply saying that term fracture is just a way for teams to say "It's broken, just not bad enough to require surgery."
