Romo plays like a veteran

Romo looked like Brett Favre out there yesterday. I don't see how anyone can possible still doubt that he's the future of our team. Madden even commented that "the kid plays like a veteran".

Funniest thing on that list = Jason Campbell at #34. Aren't there only 32 teams in the league. So 2 teams had to play backups and they were better than Campbell!

I think the aggressive play calling in the 4th only shows the confidence that Garrett has in Romo to go out and execute it in pressure situations.

He is crafty like Favre but to compare him with a guy who has one of the strongest arms ever to play the game doesn't give Favre his due...

He plays more like Steve Young. Can move around in the pocket and is very accurate.

True. One thing for sure Romo loves playing this game, the guy constantly has a smile on his face and seems to keep relaxed through out the game.

I agree, however, I also think that that is how Garrett will operate throughout every game. He said that the team will attack, attack, and attack more...and it is showing!

Pretty different than getting a 10 point lead and sitting on it hoping to pull the game out by running out the clock.

Garrett said the he will attack no matter what the score just to show his offense that that is what this team is all about, and to show the opposing defense that the Cowboys are not going to play soft even if they have a big lead...and that is just fine with me!

I like the aggressiveness as well but I think a lot has to do with the confidence in the QB. If Garrett lacked confidence in Romo I think it would force him to be a bit less aggressive in his playcalling

I don't know...I've been thinking that maybe Garrett has to trust Romo and be aggressive because Henry is going to be giving up like 5 or 8 touchdown a game and he cannot afford to let up...

Why Henry is not giving up 5 or 8 TD a game. I think Garrett is willing to be this aggressive with Romo and while I like Johnson as a backup I don't know if Garrett would be as aggressive in his play calls with Johnson. I think he would try and taylor things more to Johnson strenght and try and avoid weakness. I think Garrett trust Romo to go out and execute the plays.
