If it wasn't for a crap showing by our defense in the playoff game he would have had this team in the championship game as a flipping rookie. Check and see how many times that's been done. I do have concerns about Dak, but as long as this arse clown OC is running the show, I may never get answers.

wow...its none stop with you...no, I don't want to lose and look good. the problem is that Dak had lots of flaws in 2016, but people over looked it..... and giddy and drunk on wins...which wasn't sustainable and its obvious now that it wasn't sustainable..... worse yet, I hoped he would work on those flaws and get better, I held slightest hope, but in fact he has gotten worse.....

sorry if you don't get it and trying to be childish about the debate....pick up a blitz!!! you think that's its suppose to be a lineman...no the QB, from his view needs to know where the blitz is coming from or could come from, pick up the blitzers, make the calls, align the recievers, etc....all QBs do that...but go ahead and play dumb....

and I have yet to see Dak do what you just said.....and yes, its a game of tit for tat....its NFL....we are not asking Dak to do what 100s of other QBs past and present weren't asked to do....

you are dak lover, there is no denying that...stick your head in the sand and watch this team go down the toilet with Dak at the helm and keep blaming everybody else, except Dak….this is just like Garrett defenders do....make excuses and spin....in the mean time Dak is ranked 29th this year ad sinking

The team hasn't come up from the toilet this century. It isn't going to down the toilet when it has already been there for many years.

Yes, the center calls out the defensive front formation and the blocking schemes change based on that. Ask me how I know, I’ve been in my share of film sessions as I played at the collegiate level. When I hear pick up a blitz, I’ve always heard that come out of a coaches or players mouth as a player physically taking on that assignment. Not a QB “picking up a blitz”. It’s semantics but whatever floats your boat.

And no I’m not a Dak lover, but I just don’t hate the player because he took Romo’s postion. The kid is a young QB surrounded by an inept head coach and even more useless QB Coach. With the guy eating Connor Williams’ nameplate on every pass play how could you expect any QB to have a decent game yesterday? I’m going to give the guy a chance. He’s all Dallas has and will have for the foreseeable future. He’s had one good year , one bad year, and an up/down 3rd season. How can you judge what type of player he is on that? He may end up being a bust, but it’s too early to tell , imo.

the center calls out the blocking but the QB aligns the players and back field blocking by seeing the defensive alignment and seeing if they are playing zone, cover 2, cover 3, potentially a safety or Corner blitz, etc...… the QBs job is to align the players, adjust their routes, adjust the play accordingly....at pre snap and then see how it unfolds as the snap happens, he is dropping, see the players either blitz, or drop back in coverage and make his reads and make the right throw...accurately...… Dak struggles in all of that still.....
