Romo vs Dak, but that's exactly the point you were trying to make!

I always saw Dak as a Tim Tebow V2, he pushes the football and as Troy stated in week one, he aims the football

I’m pointing out running to extend plays or trusting your arm. Romo was just there to point out what the field look like. The last sentence is a bit misleading but I was pointing out what Dak does under pressure and whatever QB (Romo if you want) will stand there to make those key passes in key situations.

A pick is possible on every pass. So, you throw the ball so your guy can get it and their guy can't. That's what Tony would have done because he wouldn't pass up a chance to win the game.

That kinda play is why you don't have post season success..

Would have been as bad as Titans going for 2 today.

Also we don't have "those types" of receivers, they don't even catch normal passes.

Just look at how teams defend Dak. There is absolutely no respect for his passing ability and teams are playing that much closer to the box and line.

On the second and four, where they ran Zeke outside, every DB was right up at their receivers and all Dak had to do is play fake and take a shot with that man coverage and nobody over the top.

Dude can’t even read defenses pre-snap.

Why don't you and the rest show proof, that people, are double talkers. Your type always say folks double talkers but have never shown any proof. Why don't you show proof or shut up using that claim as valid when you have no proof of it being so.
I just posted a tinsey little piece of proof within a short amount of career years where Romo choked it up and cost many games very badly.

Here. Check it out.

The guys blaming the WRs now are the same ones saying it was all Dez’s fault and that Dak will not force the ball to the guy that’s covered and will throw it to the guys that are open.. these are the same guys that were nowhere to be seen criticizing Garrett and the play calling for years..

And Now suddenly it’s the WRs and Garrett...

This is the type of game I wanted to see. Does Dak trust his arm and do the coaches trust him to throw it. While I enjoyed Dak using his feet to extend plays, Romo goes ahead and points out (two times before our final drive) what was open if Dak decides to pass instead of run. Well this game goes to show th difference between a QB who looks to use his legs and one that uses their arm to win games.
:facepalm:I wonder what some here would do if Romo went through his games and pointed out his flaws.

How exactly did he go 13-3 genius?

He had a prime time offense geared for somebody else and road a winning streak that he was part of but would have happenned with Romo too. Everything went perfect for Dak in 2016 is hasn't since and you are seeing the results

So all he has to do is win a wildcard game?
LOL................Look, he wasn't awful today. He made some bad decisions, and missed some wide open receivers......very wide open receivers......and the coaching decisions hurt at times too, particularly the decision to play for a tie, when they had time to take a shot or two......but he wasn't good either. There were moments he made plays, but it seems like he needs a lot of time to make them. You know what reminded me of the Romo era today? The O-line play. It wasn't the worst I've seen, but they need to protect Dak for a few seconds longer if they expect him to play well. Do that, and I think he can be an above average QB.

Just draft the best offensive lineman again next year so Dak can have perfect protection. Only reason he did good against the jags was lack of pressure. Let's build up the team to carry Dak instead of finding a better qb.

Teams are daring Dak to beat them with his arm. The staff could help by calling more play action and bootlegs.

I didnt enjoy watching him Fumble in our endzone which would go down as the winning play for the skins

I also didnt enjoy garrett having no balls and going for the tie
I agree.

Dak almost overcame that mistake....yet all anyone wants to do is blame him.

The dude had near 300 yards passing how anyone can blame Dak is baffling.
If he doesn't fumble on the goalline and give them a free 7 points we likely win. He could have thrown it away, or to Zeke who was standing there wide open as a check down safety valve.

I bet he was holding off a lot too to not throw him too much under the bus, but waiting till the end of the game to point out a couple

Romo was there today for the All 22. What we can’t see as fans. If Romo is your cup of tea so be it, if it’s Aaron, or Brady that will stand in there to make that throw then whatever. The point is, we saw what Dak will do when we need him to take over the game. Run or pass. We also learned what the coaches think of him.

Well...lets see....According to Romo

1. Dak isn't recognizing blitzes

2. Isn't making the correct line adjustments

3.Isn't hitting wide open WRs

4.Is turning the football over

5. Isn't audibling out of bad plays.

6. Isn't watching enough tape to recognize plays

7. Isn't getting the ball out quick enough.

Dak brought us back to tie the game. The OL and wrs are garbage

Yeah if we win this game Dak is the greatest ever. Played well today. Made a ton of plays and throws. Gives you a chance every week. Always blame the QB in this league.

Zeke, Oline, unfamiliarity with his skill set. the league figured him out. Jesse Holly pointed out on the 105.3 the fan the other day that Dak doesnt process quickly enough. doesnt have great anticipation and his accuracy can be poor too often. now that is a problem most against zone coverages like the skins were running today. As Romo pointed there were plenty of players open today on numerous plays but Dak either didnt see it, anticipate it or was late on the throws. Now if you play man coverage like Jacksonville did he doesnt have to process nearly as much and does a better job. Unfortunately, most teams will play Zone coverages against him. i dont just spout things with zero knowledge or just using emotion. i understand football and how its played. im no expert but when it quacks like a duck, walks like duck and throws like a duck.... its a duck.
