last season was the highest in the league @ 120. Just saw that stat when re-watching the oakland/niners preseason game from last week.
Exactly. When it comes to getting 6, I'll take Romo throwing the ball three times over trying to run the ball down there any day.NextGenBoys;4067436 said:Yeah he has always been pretty good in the RZ. We sure as hell couldn't run the ball down there, so it's always been up to him.
Very underrated in terms of his accuracy down there. Field and passing windows shrink.

Agreed. The Emperor;4067452 said:My problem with Romo in the red zone is we don't do enough bootleg with him. He's as mobile as McNabb, I think. We ought to run a lot of Romo bootlegs with Witten and Phillips in the flats to give that run-pass option.

Only problem is it essentially cuts the field in half if the defense doesn't bite.

I'm a huge Romo fan... but if I had to pull out one thing about him that bothers me, it's that sometimes when he "works on something" he wants to do to improve his play, I think he takes it too far. Don't get me wrong, I love that he is constantly trying to improve and work on something he perceives as a weakness.twentytwo;4067971 said:Couldn't agree more. One thing I missed seeing the past two seasons from Romo was his scrambling. I really think he can be a very similar play to Rodgers, but we haven't seen it as much from him lately.
