We need a leader, and when Romo is on the field, he does command a lead.

I wish people would resist the temptation to start a thread on everything that pops into their head.

I wish people would reply using the same filter.

I agree!!! This team will get better and start winning again but Romo has to be on the field. Even our D feeds off the energy the O brings.. Romo is extremely important to us getting back on the right track...

Excuse me for bringing a little levity to this whole situation. I know things are rough right now, but I am now a fair-weathered fan. I take the highs with the lows.

Every season has them and unstanding them doesn't make you a fair-weathered fan. We're 4-3 and just looked like crap against the sorry Rams but if Romo comes back next week and we beat the Bucs this board will be entirely different. We have alot of talent and can turn this thing around. It's the journey that's gonna make this team tough. I truely believe we're gonna be just fine....

you have to realize Brandee P, with this wonderful forum we have we have certain...posters whom like to point out something that goes wrong with wins, after all SOMEONE has to be the scapegoat. Then these posters are usually put on a suicide watch by the admins/mods when we lose...its a terrible sickness called "debby downers syndrome" or DDS for short

You don't think some mods suffer from that?

That wasn't true for the Cardinal game last week or we would not have seen Johnson today.
I agree Romo is the leader, as it should be. But for the last few games going back to last season, Tony has not seemed to be the same player he was when he took over for Bledsoe. I am not sure why, but the change is very clear.
Do you think it is:
a. The play of the O-line, which has been average at best?
b. The league has figured out Jason Garrett?
c. Head Coach Jerry Jones calling plays?
d. Injuries
e. All of the above

I vote A. :starspin

Romo's been the same excluding the cards game. he reminded me of how i seen him after the seattle loss, completely distraught. This season is young, but if i must pick one of your 5 choices id say its a mix of B and D

Looking at Romo's facial expressions lately, he really doesn't seem to be enjoying the games right now. His look during Folk's game tying field goal at the end of the 4th quarter of the Cardinal game spoke volumes. He may be as frustrated with the team's situation as we are, maybe more:(

I do think the league has begun to get a handle on Garrett's offense. :starspin

thats what i was saying with the distraught look of the seattle loss bummed to know end knowing the team is in the position its in because of him.

last year garrett was moving owens around and mixing things up this season it seems...blah, dull and boring

Romo makes some mistakes, but he covers up a ton of mistakes that others make with his play. We've been shooting ourselves in the foot for a while now and we see today what we amount to when we don't have a superstar QB to smooth things over.

Yep. Amazing what a difference he makes.

I think the anti-TO crowd would be in for a similar awakening if we suddenly jettisoned him.

Sometimes you don't know what you have until you lose it. And I'm willing to bet Romo, TO or the likes aren't the guys we need to axe.

Yeah-I'm sick of all the TO bashing here too. He says nothing, and does nothing on the sidelines, he's still somehow sulking and pouting just b/c his facial expression looks a little frustrating. He says something hardly controversial, but nonetheless everyone still thinks he said something hugely controversial and is about to blow. And for that matter, he gets in Gurode's face for mistakes, he nonetheless is nothing more than a 10 year old kid.(but, of course, NOONE bothers to get in ANYONE's face over mistakes during games like they SHOULD)

Like I said-wait until he gets hurt, and the entire anti-TO crowd will realize his value to the team.
