They didn't play great, but they made timely plays. If you dont have any real worries after this game then you are just a blind homer. Crayton had the best game out of any of them.

This was the Bucs put the anointing oil away. Decent game but lots of room for improvement.

I would rather have the worries now,and lots of time to correct them before December.December need to be flawless.

y'know, I think having Bennett line up wide really caused some problems for the Bucs D. that + witten really benefitted the WRs. I think if Garrett can get Felix/Choice more involved in the short passing game, the WRs could see a llot of weak coverage

Oh my God. Really dude? REALLY?! Is there any joy in your life at all? Of course it wasn't flawless, but they certainly played a lot better than some of the clowns on this board have believed they would. I know you're a well-established Romo hater, but can't you even appreciate a nice opening day win on the road. Who said anything about not having any worries? The post is about the performances of those three much-maligned players. They played well. Period.

The offense did well for the most part. The special teams did well for the most part. The defense was putrid. They need to actually get to the quarterback, not just pressure him before he completes a pass. They also need more turnovers. Three and outs are a defense's best friend. Those are the areas of improvement we need to see.

By the way, the O-Line looked pretty good to me today.

Lol Romo played good. Just not as good as the stats indicate. No need to hate though. I was praying he stopped messing around after halftime because at the end of the day no matter how i feel about him I want the Cowboys to win. I just know that Dallas cant count on the Giants having as many defensive breakdowns as the Bucs did.

Crayton just needs to shut up and let his play on the field do the talking for him.

The WR's and TE's were outstanding.

Romo's overall numbers were great, but he missed a number of throws he normally makes. Definitely was not as accurate today.

OL was ok, not great, not bad. RB's were ok, though the holes werent there as much in the 2nd half.

Special teams almost pitched a perfect game (only Newman's drop on a punt return was a negative). Buehler very well may break whatever the NFL record is for touchbacks.

Defese, God awful. No excuse for Wade Phillips either. Just none.

26 first downs and 450 yds...Tampa wont get anywhere near either of those numbers again this yr. And if not for some drops and missed gimmee's, they'd have easily scored 40+ points and probably had close to 600 yds. It was one of the worst defensive games I've ever seen.

There seems to be a game on this board to get that obligatory 'Crayton just needs to shut his mouth and...' post in every time his name is mentioned. I just wanted to win some reflexive-poster mojo heading into the new season. In other threads, I'm being pointlessly critical of Jason Garret's play calling with no rhyme or reason, too.
