Every non-Cowboys fan I know thinks he's garbage.
I got news for ya. I think Cowboys fans are harder on him than any non cowboys fans.
Win a ring, all the question marks go away.
The only fans I've seen trash him is Cowboy fans and casual football fans that really don't watch many of his games. They hear what the media says and they immediately buy into it without a second thought.
Most of the people I know who follow the NFL closely actually think Romo is a very good QB, and some of those guys even hate Dallas lol.
The flip side is the Romo apologists. If you say something about a bad throw Romo made you instantly become a Romo hater to them. I greatly appreciate Romo but i know he is not perfect.

Stole my answer.
That's why he's not mentioned in the same breath as the 'elite quarterbacks', the ring.
He won't get the credit he deserves until he gets one.
I agree. But the "apologists" lobby so hard for the man because of all the unwarranted hate he gets that is absolutely undeserved. By all accounts he's a great guy who does a lot of charity work and helps out his community. He's the American dream. Undrafted free agent to starter of the Dallas cowboys. He's not an *** to the media. He's very respectful. He's not a crybaby. Almost any body else would be praised yet all he gets is laughed at and made fun of and treated like he's babe laufenberg
And he is not perfect but there isn't any Qb in the NFL that is perfect either
Some of it is unwarranted, some of it has justification. It is not a black and white subject. Talking about Romo is like talking about religion or politics. People have strong opinions about it. In the end, Romo will have to win a Championship. It’s not just the media that has doubts, its the players too. For example Giant players saying they expected Romo to make a late minute mistake. I want Romo to win a Super Bowl for himself.
