And Cam Newton is "capable" of going 15-1. The only thing we know that Dak can do for sure is going one and done despite an embarrassment of riches. Pull the other lever, troll... because the one you're desperately yanking on don't work. You have a QB that is capable of 13-3 who is cheap. Do you know how many teams would love that? And your response is to keep an expensive car on deck. The guy's salary could get us the type of defense we've been dreaming of for a LONG time but with him here, you can forget that, so where does that leave us? That leaves us in the EXACT SAME BOAT. At this point, we're trying to move past a bad defense. Giving him that type of contract was suspect to begin with, but it's been done and now it's time to undo it. We have 3 more years on cheap labor and we need to act FAST.

Yeah, what was I thinking? It's not like Romo ever played in a game where the defense gave up 51 points despite him throwing for 500 yards. And if that ever did happen, there would be a bunch of posts with Clove saying, "Boy that Romo sure played great, totally not his fault on that one. It was on the defense. Yeah, the defense."Yeah. That least talented front 7 in the entire league on defense was just a treasure trove.

Good luck with that. Romo wouldn't win because he's an interception machine and takes untimely sacks. You can't win like that, sorry. But let some other team try him out, I'm sure they'll regret the high price tag for an intercepting machine that's made of glass.
Nothing new here. Tony will make his best deal and maybe end it, if he is lucky, like Joe Montana ... in KC.But here's the question no one seems to be asking when it comes to the aging quarterback:
"Why would Tony Romo even want to play for the Dallas Cowboys now?"

Brady throws an INT in 64% of his games. Romo throws one in 75%. Given how much more frequently Romo is behind in the second half and esp the 4th quarter I can see where some of that difference comes, albeit a small difference anyway.
You and others are constantly harping about an opinion about Romo being a turnover machine etc and I think you and others are conflating opinion versus fact in many instances.
If you say Romo seems to throw a fair number of INTs trying to lead his team to victory from behind then I'll concede that as a generalized opinion with a decent amount of fact behind the perception.
He has been injured a lot lately and I do think some of that rests on his shoulders. He's always tried to do too much as he's often been asked to carry the team. He never learned WELL how to get rid of the ball and give up on a play even when the game is not on the line. It's just not in his nature recognizing the pros and cons of that attribute. He's also not been protected well enough by the refs IMO. That's an opinion but I believe that the majority of reasonable fans buy into that.

Ouch!I can see him with the Cardinals or Chiefs.

Cardinals already said Palmer is there guy
Not surprising that such a dopey article would totally miss the number one reason he shouldn't want to return: "braintrust" can't push the right buttons to get them over the top.
Yes, as insecure Dak slobberers keep nervously stating over and over to make themselves feel better, despite no one in the organization to this day not naming Dak anything other than a (formerly) "hot" hand.Number one reason is he is no longer the number one.
