The cream usually rises. If the kid truely has "IT" we fans should be able to tell.

I'm not saying that, I know pressure comes with the job but for goodness sake people comparing Romo to Favre, Young and some other all time greats is asking a lot out of a player who has a total of 1/2 game of reg season experiance and is about to face one of the better defense in the NFL. I think to be fair in judgeing Romo it should be over the course of the season not just next sunday

You and other fans are taking the comparisons way too seriously. No one is saying he is as good as Favre or Young, just that he plays with that kind of style.

The comparison isn't to their greatness, just to their style of play.

Not so sure about that. I recall many saying Steve Walsh should stay and Aikman leave because Walsh was the QB when Dallas won aginst the skins the year we went 1-15.

That is a great point and SPOT ON! Personally i think he reminds me of Favre to a T, but i'm not dumb enough to say HE IS Favre. I bet if you ask Tony, he'd say he welcomes the "fan pressure" because that means he's in the spotlight and it's his time/opertunity to shine.

Aikamn won out, just as the cream does against the milk:)

I'm not taking it seriously. Fact is we don't have a clue as to Romo he has played 1/2 a game.

Fact is we do have a clue as to who Drew Bledsoe is and I refuse to watch any more if it. It's sickening.

Yes because the coach knew better than many of the fans. I would just hate to see fans throw Romo under the bus should things not go so great in Carolina. People spend all week building up games or players to the point that if they don't do well the crying and screaming takes place. I realize me saying this is not going to change some peoples reaction

But TONY thinks he can do it, and that's what matters! The kid doesn't lack for confidence.

We have a clue as to his STYLE ..... that much is obvious.

The thing we don't have a clue about is how successful he will be, but that's a different issue.

Once again, the comparisons were to STYLE only - no one is saying he will be as good as Favre and Young.

This is not about Bledsoe. Your right he has struggled to the point that Parcells feels this is the time to make the move.

Ahhh, I remember this feeling. In fact, I remember the last time I had it.

His name? Chad Hutchinson ;-)

Give Tony some credit. I'm wiling to bet he's a mentally tough kid. He will have to handle ALL that junk if he's gonna get to where he wants to be. I bet he's not scared one bit. Like he said yesterday, he's "chomping at the bit". That doesn't sound like a guy scared of fans throwing him under the bus if he throws a couple picks.

I am but I'm also realistic when talking about a young QB going on the road aginst one the better defense. Can Dallas win this game? Yes I think we can but if we are forced into a game in which we are having to put the ball up 30 or more times then chances are no. This is not a knock on Romo and I hope he can handle the heat because if he has a rough outing I can promise you many singing praises today will be the same morons hollering how bad he is.
