Romo stats: 10 games 2006 vs 10 games 2007

Higher QB rating, better completion percentage, 10 additional TD's and the same number of INTs. The other numbers are fairly similar though, which confirms what we are already know, Romo is a consistent performer. Also 5 less sacks over same number of games.

Wow. They're very close numbers-wise across the board. Then you get to TDs and he blows the doors off last year.

Aside from the sporatic garbage pass, his play has been stellar.

The attempts per game and yards per game for 2006 are divided by 16, not 10 (starts) or 11 (games where he actually had a pass attempt). So those numbers are way off.

I thought it would be a really tall order for Romo to actually improve on last year, but he's proven me wrong. Here's to keeping it up for about 9 more weeks, eh?
