I thought he got it all out of his system against Buffalo...and I am also wondering if some of this is Garrets fault. Shorter routes should have been called when we realized that the Giants pressure was getting to us. Rollouts should have been called. And Romo flat out took some terrible sacks when he could have fired the ball out of bounds. Oh wait, he did do that...except he was in the pocket. He has to accept winning ugly every now and then...the game was not all his fault, but he was not very good today.

some things to work on put he still showed alot of skill and guts....we lost this one due to some soft TDs (it took us a while to adjust to their offense in both 1st and 3rd quarters) and especially fouls and poor special teams defense that just kicked us in the teeth and lost us momentum.

Romo is NOT the problem.

What would the new god of the nfl Brady do under the same pressure that Romo was facing in the 2nd half? He used his mobility to do what he could. He can throw the passes but he cant catch them to. Do not forget his run.
He doesnt call the plays either....

So find someone else to blame for the loss.

he took sacks you do not take...he ignored some check downs THAT BRADY DID ALL NIGHT AGAINS THE JAGS. Romo forces the issue...that is no secret

What check downs? It seemed like every pass play sent everyone at least 15 yards down the field...

I just wish they rolled out the same game plan from the 2nd Giants game. Oh, and played Julius Jones a little more to spell Barber. Those changes and the Cowboys win going away. It would have been whatever we scored to 21 for the Giants. This offense is far too talented to score 17 and the playcalling looks like we were trying to place all the emphasis on execution and not making mistakes.

This team is flawed and will make mistakes but will OUTSCORE you to make up for it.

What the hell were the coaches thinking we were?

Romo made maybe 3-4 bad plays all game. The O-line got pimp slapped in the 3rd and 4th Quarter. Untimely penalties, drops and poor O Line play killed us.

Romo is the least of my worries right now.
We need:
A WR to compliment TO. Glenn is done. Crayton is an OK WR3 nothing more.
A Corner (Maybe even 2)
ILB
SS/FS If we can't sign Hamlin. Roy has to go...plain and simple.

Seems to me both Romo and Garrett had their minds elsewhere and were not mentally into the game. From all the penalties I have to say most of the rest of the team wasn't either though Witten and MB III had mostly good games. This team will have to live with their own letdown and Crayton's stupid trash-talking and embarrassing play all off-season. I hope both players and coaches will rag on Crayton so bad he will shut his stupid mouth next year.

Brady would wait for the offensive play caller to caller to call quick short passes and screens. Of the 28 passes Brady threw Sat night, one attempt was thrown over over 15 yards. One.

Why did Garrett insist on exposing Romo to that pressure by not changing the play calling? Garrett isn't as impressive to me as everyone else I guess. It was still his first year in this role so experience could be a big piece of it.

I did not notice that. Romo seemed OK to me save for the sack and the IG penalty. Wasn't a huge fan of the play calling...but it was better than last years playoff play calling.

QB always gets too much glory for wins and too muh blame in the losses.
Surely you know this by now.

I couldn't agree more. We in the stands were all saying the same thing.

Need to remember that Romo is still a work in progress. I actually expect some of the things that he did. Holding the ball and taking sacks....those are things that he will overcome in time, but he tries too much (sometimes) to make the sandlot play that everybody loves. He has improved since last year, but has some work to do. As much as Crazy Cowboy wants to say he's the best Cowboy QB ever, he's just not there yet. He may be if he can put it all together, but not yet. VERY good player, but you can't expect veteran moves from a two or three season guy.

Get off Romo.

2 seasons as a starter.
2 head coaches.
2 offensive coordinators.
1 legitimate WR.

The guy needs a little continuity and another play-maker. Oh and reworking the entire left side of the offensive line wouldnt hurt either.

He will never overcome these things. It's already been 5 years. He has been scorched about this by. his diff. qb coaches for the past 5 years and he still never learns. What makes you think he cares about game management? The answer is he won't he'll continue to take bone-head sacks in key situations and cost his team. He'll also throw into triple coverage with the game on the line instead of going for a first down and having a closer shot at it. If you saw his arm strength on that last throw it wasn't very pretty. He obviously should of did the right thing & went for the first down so he could of made an easier throw and not rely to much on his arm strength there on his final play which was a horrible decision on his part.

Wow-I know these losses can be VERY painful, but we're starting to push it now.

Romo has given this franchise HOPE. No ifs, ands, or buts. As for him not doing the proper things yesterday? Neither did Gurode, Crayton, Flo, Roy, and pretty much everyone else.
