Romo stronger arm more accuracy

The only question some people had last year about Romo was his accuracy on his deep balls. And so far I think He has answered the questions. His long passes have more zing on them and are on the money. Looks like He has a stronger arm this year aswell.

Nothing but upside for this guy..Man I love it. That bomb to Terrell owens had me cheesin all day:D

I think it is just from his improved footwork!
 
Would have loved to have been at the game to see that pass in person. The broadcast didn't show the flight of the ball, and I had no idea if it was on target until it floated down from the heavens and landed in the arms of the angelic T.O.

I thought one of the announcers mentioned it was in the air for 60 yards before TO caught it.
 
I thought Romo's deep balls last year were pretty much on target. This preseason he was off a bit on the long ball.
 
To me his arm looks considerably stronger. It has to be with his mechanics.

I went to the open practice and his arm jumped out at me instantly. he threw a deep ball to owens about 65 yards in the air, right on the money. He has done it in each game also.

that was the last knock on the guy. Now he needs to win that playoff game so everyone can shut up.

His arm does look stronger..

I said alot last year that his deep balls were wobbly and lackluster in distance. Or at least Gibril Wilson thought so. It has to be his mechanics. Maybe he is stepping into his throws more and having more weight on his front foot than back. Who knows....

You mean to Austin--right?
 
Actually, I think the main difference this year is that Romo is putting more air under the ball when he throws passes for 35+ yards. That allows his receivers to better position themselves to catch it.

Now if he could just not try to throw into "Cover 4", that would be great!!!

Exactly, Romo is putting a lot more air under the ball and letting his receivers run underneath it...
 
I think Romo hurt his thumb last year twice and it was the cause of his accuracy problems late last year.
