QB wins, blah, blah, blah. Baseball season's over. I don't understand made up stats, so keep that stuff with the boys of summer. You half no credibility.

I guess Tyron Smith blew the save on Romo's win by throwing an 0-2 slider that Stafford golfed over the Ford Field fence?

Well you half baseball on the mind. You know don't you that basebol is a dying sport? NFL is the way to go, man. but i do think that basebol is good for insomniaks it make them go to sleep haha.

Romo is good enough at his position for us to win. We cannot say that about every other position, or coach though. And that is why we can't win enough in the regular season to get into the playoffs. Not because our QB is not good enough.

A lot of QB's have won in the past 10 yrs that are not as good as Romo. Not saying Romo is the best in the NFL, .. but he may be 6th, 7th or 8th best.

Listen, .. we have scored 30 and 48 pts recently and still lost. We were up 10 twice in the 4th quarter and lost. It is not the offense.

It is obvious that we can't continue to give up so many points.

Our offense is adequate enough to win, but the defense is not.

It is a shame that someone has to try and explain this to certain posters.

I would agree with that. However, the offense is still part of the problem but fix the defense first. Our offense is not creative enough to carry this defense through games. It is too late to change/fix the defense, we can only hope injuries stay away and some come back strong. For the remainder of this season, the offense will have to open it up and take up the slack.

Romo can play lights out for two whole seasons and then have a bad game and guys like you want a new QB. Are QB's the only ones who are not allowed to off once and a while? Brandon Carr shut down several good receivers the last few weeks. The Megatron lit him up like a Chrismas tree. I guess by your logic, Carr is done.

You half convinced me. From now on I am a Romo superfan. After all, we now half ONE playoff win under Romo. That is enough to keep me happy for infernity.

Well, you used Denver as one example and we knew they will get their points, offense did their part and the D didn't.

The DET game. The defense did give the offense a chance. On our 2nd to last possession(3:27 on the clock), the offense went 3 and out. The defense held Det on their next series and got the ball back to our offense for another chance to ice the game and they failed again. If Dallas gets a first down in either of those series, we most likely win.

As horrible as our defense played, the offense was almost as bad, especially in the last 4 minutes. Garrett playing not to lose + relying on the defense to get stop after stop = bad coaching. This loss is on both sides IMO.

Yes, but it is clear your mind is dead set on the defense and absolving this offense of any wrong doing.

I am blaming both. The defense did get that crucial stop at the end of the game and the offense spit the bit again. Isn't that what we ask of a poor defense, to get that one stop late in the game? Well, they did.

Both sides need addressed in the off-season starting with the defense. The offense is adequate enough like you said but it still needs a new scheme.

Oh I'm all for improving both sides of the ball in the off-season, .. some things will get addressed and some will not I'm sure.

But for right now, .. and I've never said the offense is perfect, .. but if we are good enough to score 30 or 48 pts, I expect to win those games.

That's what I think, .. but all I can speak for is me.

Here in lies the problem.....the offense needs to go out for the rest of this season and score in the high 30's because the defense can not be counted on. They can't score 48 one week and 17 the next, rinse and repeat. I think they need to come out and just try to out-score their opponent knowing the defense stinks. That should work on anyone not named Denver or New Orleans.

This take what the defense gives will not work this season, our defense is way too thin and on the verge of total collapse if another injury or two occurs.

Play like we did against Denver and pray we score more points IMO.
