Romo susceptible to rattling? article @ ESPN, anyone have this?

Certainly possible but they all are if they get the confusing looks and get hit enough.
 
Tony Romo has been on fire the last three games, and he's been making great decisions. He's averaging over 300 yards passing per contest, and has eight touchdowns with no interceptions.

In order to turn Romo back into the turnover vending machine that was on the business end of a 44-6 whooping to close out the 2008 season, the Philadelphia Eagles have a plan: "get to him, and quick," according to what one Eagles defender told ESPN 950. Per Brian Seltzer, there's a buzz inside the Eagles' locker room that Romo does not respond well to contact, so even if they don't get in for a sack, you'll see defenders in his face quite a bit on Sunday night.

You mean like when he was repeatedly hit in the head in KC and proceeded to torch them for 350 yards? Or when he got lit up scrambling against Atlanta?... Actually that hit almost seemed to get him going in that game.

If you're a one-sport individual then you're right, I don't think it would make much sense.

But I like a lot of sports and Insider also archives some of their multimedia stuff on the Insider portal.
 
LOL get this, there is actually a link on the NFL ESPN.com page that headlines "Rumors: Romo may struggle against Philly"...BSPN is a joke.
 
QBs are expected to be less effective after being pummeled. I will say though that our hot reads/ quick throws are not executed very well... even if Romo isn't getting pummeled,,,, needs work!
 
It all really comes down to the OL, TE and RBs that are in to block. If they can pickup the blitz, Austin has a chance to torch the Eagles CBs with his athleticism and ball skills.

I also think we need to give the Eagles a heavy dose of Felix Jones - this should keep us in short yardage for 3rd downs and take some of the starch out of Cole's legs from trying to stop Flo from running him over.

We also need Romo to hit some hot reads and Garrett needs to counter with well executed screens to Felix and Choice.
 
Are you crazy?! Don't give away that Philly's gonna blitz, it's their "SECRET WEAPON!"

What can any offense do to counter this, this, this, this so called, BLITZ?! We're doomed.
 
If I am picking a QB in this game to react negatively to pressure and be rattled by a pass rush, it is Donovan McNabb.

Romo does some boneheaded things, but he's not among the worst when things break down.
 
Romo has had some of his best and worst moments in the face of pressure. However, the majority of QBs fold like a cheap suit when they get pressure. We can only hope that the OL keep him clean in the pocket and in those hopefuly rare instances when he does get pressure, he make the iggles pay.

I agree, Mr. Matty Ice was considered unflappable by his following but he flapped pretty hard once he was scraping himself off the ground a few times.
 
2008-Tom Brady Romo was not good at all against the blitz, but Tony Romo is.

With Romo finding his creativity and escapability again, I'm begging the Eagles to blitz and force the mismatches in coverage.
