Some dumb fans and many in the media will blame Romo because of the interception, but in reality what we saw tonight was Tony Romo entering his name into the discussion for MVP.

He has thrown 1 pick that was his fault this year and even then that was of all the times that the line didn't hold.

All week we were hearing from people that they wanted the old Tony back, the one who would throw the ball downfield even if it meant an interception here or there. And we got that. Tony dared to throw the ball and he threw it well. I was wondering where the zip was on his passes, but it was back this week. Definitely might have been the best game I've ever seen him play. Not his fault that his defense gave up 48 points. Won't even put this on Dez who fumbled, but had an overall great game.

13 touchdowns, 2 interceptions over 1500 yards in 5 games. Easily having the best year of his career, yet we are 2-3....

Fix the defense and keep asking Romo to play as he is. I hope Ratliff can help us out, because we need him desperately.

If the offense attacks the middle like they did this game, I'm optimistic this is going to be exciting.... I just think they knew they had to match Denver with the pace, so they brought out the big guns. If they keep their foot on the gas, good things can happen for a playoff run.

Because fans and the media continue to have a myopic opinion of Romo and his abilities to lead this team and make plays in the clutch (like he did today down 35-20) he will never receive MVP consideration. Unless the Cowboys really get on a winning streak now, which, looking at the schedule, is possible.

Tonight, I saw exactly what I wanted to see from this team, though I feel like we should have ran the ball in certain situations. I thought that could helped the defense a lot. Outside of Dunbar all these sixth men on our team are producing like I thought I would. Williams, Beasley, and Escobar.

The offense reminded me of 2007 a bit...those definitely weren't the same plays they ran against SD, hopefully they keep it up for the next 11+.

I think Romo is more than good enough and is quite possibly last on the list of this team's problems.
But although he can have elite games, I can't say he is an elite QB.
I do agree that he is borderline MVP caliber this year.

Laufenberg ( who is not shy about criticizing Romo) said it best.
"If Tony plays this kind of game the rest of the season, this team could be playing Denver again in the Super Bowl."

If he would have played like Eli or Flacco did this year vs Denver, the Cowboys lose this one by 3-4 touchdowns.

But, but.....Romo has noodle arm. He can't throw the deep ball anymore. How can he be an MVP candidate, when he pulled the Jedi out in the first? He's a stud, and as always, our defense sucks.

Excellent point. If Dallas ran this offense against the Chiefs and Chargers, they'd be 4-1.

Yep, Peyton will be unanimous MVP .....no moral victories or sympathy given by whoever votes for this. Now Romo may be the Cowboys MVP, but that's about it.
