i noticed it a few times during the game....even the ones the WR's caught

me personally i like it

1...it shows that he is trying to improve on his over throws

2...its safer, if the guy is covered less chance of a pick, or him getting hit and it popping up in the air

I wish i could truely believe it's on purpose. There were a couple throws in the last couple weeks that hit the ground 2 yards in front of the WR. That's not low that's just wild.

I can live with 3 out of every 29 passes being inaccurate.

McNabb's philosophy is the pass can't be intercepted if no one can catch it. That is why he is tied for 2nd place with the best interception to pass atempt ratio at 2.1%. Who would think that bad throws would be worth something? By the way Jason Campbell must follow the same philosophy as he is unofficially ranked 4th at 2.2%.

He just isnt accurate. Alot like Mcnabb who can make some nice accurate deep throws and hit guys right in stride, then throw 5 yards short and behind westbrook in the flat.

Not sure why he misses so bad at times. I think its because he cant see over line fully and throws it where he thinks they are going to be. Alot of times it just isn't where they are.

The only game Romo overthrew a bunch was in Denver, and I still think the altitude had something to do with it. Regularly he rarely overthrows WRs.

Interesting how one game suddenly makes people think he "always overthrows."

If anything, Romo underthrows a bunch more than overthrows. He just doesn't have that big time arm strength to do so.

Probably the result of stretching Roy Williams up into the air, and getting slammed by the safety. Just smart football to keep it low.

Yep he sure is inaccurate. That is why he is only ranked 9th all time in completion percentage. And they are easy passes too based on the fact that he is only ranked 4th all time in yards per pass attempt

Oh god...

Your the same homer saying our offense is best in the league after 6 games and against teams like KC and Tampa.

Seriously.. get over your wack stats and see through a normal lens. When he misses, he misses bad. If people didnt see that they wouldnt post it. I am not the only one seeing this.

he seems to be getter better though. It looks like he's finding that middle ground of risk taker and protecting the football.

Good job my friend... I was just dialing up his career stats when I read that post. Way to be.

Some times he is off on his throw and sometimes he is putting it where his guy may have a chance but the defender doesn't be it high or low of even a bit behind as to not lead this WR into the defender. All is all though his accuracy is not bad. Romo is not perfect but he is pretty damn good

You must have me confused. I have never said Dallas has the best offense in the league. I think they have a lot of good offensive components, but need to work on some stuff.

Get over yourself. You have quickly become one of the most annoying posters on this board. I am confident that over time you will eventually join the others that have once held that title.

Your right...

The last two games he has drastically improved. He isnt taking the chances as he previously has. If he can do that against good teams like the Eagles, Saints and Giants, we will be successful in December with steam going into the post season.
