Romo throws ducks

If you're referring to his arm strength, then you're right.

The guys arm isn't strong - I'll give you that.

Not only arm strength...will to win...intuitive feel for the game...leadership...accuracy...

I'm not knocking him...I just cringe when I see things like comparisons to Staubach and Montana...yes, neither of those guys had guns for arms...BUT their other qualities was so vastly superior to other QB's that they made up for whatever they lacked in arm strength.

Romo hasn't shown that.

As an aside, Staubach didn't exactly have a noodle for an arm.

Montana did.

please stop referring to staubach as the wobbly passer. the man was the best that ever stepped behind center for the boys. i too saw staubach on tv and i dont recall wobbly passes. if anything i recall a bunch of deep passes right on the money and whole lot of come from behind wins. enough about this desecration on the best qb the cowboys have ever had.

now danny white, he did throw some ducks out there late in his carreer.

What it does have to do with is that the announcers said many more times ...that pass coulda nearly been intd with Romo. And one even saying how he does not know if Romo could get away with those throws in the regular season.

Yeah, I know. Pretty amazing really. According to some, he should have had 10 INT's this preseason, yet didn't have any. They were even saying that when he was completing passes on Antrelle Rolle ... because, evidently, Rolle isn't that great of an athlete and a REAL talented CB could pick his passes off.

He's the luckiest guy in the history of the NFL. LOL.

P.S. ... how quickly the ball gets from the QB to the WR is a combination of arm strength and release.

Ahhh ***....I guess everyone who has these concerns has it all wrong. I guess some of us just dont see it yet that Tony Romo is the 2nd coming of Roger Staubach.

some have said Romo hasn't shown the abilities that some really good QBs have. true, these abilities have not been showcased in a real NFL game yet. but to say he hasn't shown those abilities is not true - he's our #2 precisely because he HAS shown them.
i actually have a fair amount of confidence that Romo could step in for a few games and keep our momentum going toward the playoffs. he has a quality about him that all the great ones did - he's got moxie! how much, we'll have to wait and see. hopefully, we'll wait until next year...
