Romo to the Pro Bowl?

Hey, he sure is playing like a Pro Bowl qb....let's see what he can do against a real team Sunday

It's nice to see him playing well but his team is 2 and 2 in the four games he's played in. I think he'd have to win vs. Indy to have any shot at the probowl. Indy seems to be vulnerable after the Buffalo game but the Dallas secondary is suspect and will get eaten alive by Manning, so Romo gonna have to step up big time and score a lot of points to keep up. Then again, big time is what makes you a pro bowler. Let's hope !!

Only way Romo makes the pro bowl would be if one of the other QBs pulls out due to an injury/bows out and Romo takes the Cowboys on a winning strike which puts us into the playoffs with a 10-6 record.

The probowl voting ends shortly after Thanksgiving, doesnt it? It's decided long before the end of the season, for sure.

The heck with the Pro-Bowl, why not start molding his bust in Canton right now?

Guys, look - I'm enthusiastic as well about the prospect of this kid being the answer at QB, but can we please put this into a bit of perspective?

This kid is 2-1 against two average teams, and one pi$$-poor team.

Before we start painting his name in the Ring of Honor, how about if he pulls one out in the last 2 minutes on the road against an opponent with a strong record?

And no, I'm not one of the guys who was rooting against him - I absolutely love this kid's excitement, and especially his confidence.

Let's win at least two in a row, against better-than-average competition before we start making the plane reservations for Hawaii (or Miami, for that matter).

While I think Canton or the ROH are certainly overly optimistic and premature your comments downplaying his accomplishments are also overly extreme IMO.

I'm not big into "ifs & buts" but I do think you need to footnote that Commander defeat. If Columbo makes his block on the FG we're looking at Romo being 3-0 as a starter and all on the road.

Sure there are stronger teams than those 3 and yet Carolina remains a playoff contender, those Cards had the Bears whupped, and the Skins rivalry is often a "throw out the records" kind of matchup.

To boot, I know stats aren't the end all, but Romo's rating is sitting there at 100+, tops in the NFC and behind only Peyton Manning league wide.

I don't think its a fair presentation of what Romo has accomplished to not call out some of these specifics.

As psyched as fans remain over Romo. If Vandy gets to kick that winner two weeks ago there would be some even more serious steam behind the Romo bandwagon. We'd be back in a tie for first place!

Yeah, I'm not calling for Canton, the ROH or the Pro Bowl based on this sample size but I do think his results thus far are worth raising an eyebrow over and saying "Hmmm..."
