It's sickening man. Sickening...Lesser players and lesser people got a ring. For so bad for these 2 from a competitive perspective
Great information.
Should have had Super Bowl memories.
Still can’t believe their years were wasted.
I'm a very forgiving individual, but it stings me to no end that I'll never get to see those two with a Super Bowl ring. I know life is far from fair, but it's ridiculous that players like Eli and Flacco have Super Bowl rings while neither Romo nor Witten have a ring.
Well said. In All Or Nothing Jerry and his family were pretty forthright in admitting it was their greatest regret as owners and the Eli, Flacco references are just too brutal to think about.

I feel you.
Certain fans feel I’m negative but it’s not. Jerry disappointed me as an Owner as far as not providing these two guys with good to great coaching after Parcells left.
I’m getting off subject but I will not forget the memories that these two displayed and produce as phenomenal Cowboy players over the years.
I wouldn't say wasted, they are both very wealthy men because of football.Great information.

I totally get what you mean by their years being wasted, but I completely disagree. My fandom goes all the way back to the beginning, and I have enjoyed their play as much as I did Staubach, Aikman, Dorsett, and anybody else you want to throw in there. No, they didn't win the big one, or even get there, but I always had hope with them, and I am extremely proud that they played for my team. I will miss them both.Great information.

Have Putty pass you a tissue.Sniff, sniff!
Well saidWell, while I haven't even got half the longevity that you have in terms of fandom, I agree with you in that sense. It's been an absolute pleasure to watch the two of them at work. Despite the hellstorm that surrounded this team, they were the two players (along with Ware) that I could count on to at least give us a fighting chance. As long as Romo, Witten, and Ware were in the game, I knew we had a shot.

Well said![]()
