Today Brady had a day similar if not worse than Romo has had all year... and that is on top of his 4 intereception game.... also worse than Romo has done all year....

Two interceptions and a lost fumble...

Everyone want's to say, "Oh I would love to have Tom Brady here, we would win a championship", but look at what happens to Terrific Tom when his offensive line gives him crappy protection he turns into Terrible Tom.

I would probably take the Pats offensive line on their bad day versus ours on their good day.

People think they had a really good day today, but Romo really bailed them out A LOT. Not saying the protection wasn't a lot better, but it wasn't great.

As this team continues to establish the run, you're going to see a lot more 8 in the box, and that is when you're going to see this passing game deliver, assuming players catch the ball, not fumble on the 1 yard line, or push off for no reason.

2 dimensionally and with even decent redzone offense, this team is a top offense in the nfl...

I think we'll get there, but I still have my doubts about the redzone... I think improving our interior line is one thing, but we might have to get a bigger redzone threat.

Brady was awful. Brady has three rings in his pocket. Its ok to have a few poopers when u have earned 3 rings.

IMHO, Brady is on the downside of his career. Still a very good QB, but no longer the best.

Couple that with the fact that other than Welker their isn't anybody on their offense who terrifies opposing defenses, I'm not surprised he is throwing more INTs this season.

We on the other hands have supposedly the top #1 WR, #2 WR, and #1 TE combo in the league and the second coming of Tony Dorsett in the backfield.

Brady is what makes the Patriots offense prolific.

Does Romo make our offense prolific? Is he a difference maker? He was in 2007-2009. I'm not 100% sure any more.

I hope Belichick has a contingency plan.

Brady is looking awfully mortal this year.

Tom Brady is a far better QB than Tony Romo will ever be.

Brady's bad games and mistakes...and any other QB's bad games and mistakes...do not excuse Romo's bad games and mistakes.

Their bad games does not make Romo a better QB. And Romo's good games do not make them lesser QB's.

Romo has *1* playoff victory.

Brady has *3* Super Bowls.

Last I checked his defense and his kicker earned him those rings....

Brady didn't become a prolific passer until 2007... he hasn't won a super bowl since 2004.

You know Brady is looking awfully mortal when you see a thread titled Romo vs Brady. I don't think he's looking quite that mortal though.

I'm sorry. Were the Pats ever down by 24 points in the third quarter?

Sorry, but this game isn't nearly as bad as Romo's worst game this season.

Having said that, I don't see the reason to compare Romo with Brady.

Brady is better than Romo. Period. But every quarterback has a bad day, and neither Brady or Romo are immune.

It doesn't make Romo better but perhaps people should realize that even the "greatest" qb in the league has the same issues you want to cart romo off for...

His 3 super bowls have no baring on this years games.

The mistakes Romo makes, all QBs make. It's part of the game, stop looking at romo with a microscope.

I guess Brady had nothing to do with moving them down the field and getting them in position to kick field goals.

Please stop.

Brady didn't become a prolific passer until 2007... he hasn't won a super bowl since 2004.

So. He's won three. And he had a hand in all three victories.

I think Rodgers has surpassed Brady. but he's the only one IMO.

The only difference between Brady and Romo is that Brady has had the benefit of the NFL's best coaches consistently for years now, while Romo has not had a decent coach since Sean Payton/Bill Parcells left back in 2006. Romo is actually more mobile also. We're lucky to have him. Fans who don't appreciate that are simply idiots.

So this is what this thread is all about, exonerating Romo.

That's weird, I watched Tom Brady lead the Pats offense on a would-be game winning drive today.

Eli Manning drives 80 yards on the Pats defense and somehow Brady failed.

I could care less if Romo threw three interceptions a game, as long as he put the team in position to win when he leaves the field. Playing a major role in snatching defeat from the jaws of victory (Jets and Lions game) isn't comparable to what Brady did today.

This game of Brady's worse than DET?

#1 Bills - Tom Brady up 21 - 0 in the 2nd QTR throws up 4 interceptions to lose to the Bills 34 - 31.

#2 Giants - Tom Brady throws 2 interceptions and loses a fumble on his own 16 yard line to lose the game 24-20.

Yeah that's worse than the Lions game. Where one interception wasn't even Romo's fault.

You pass blame for Romo and not Brady?

Or you haven't seen the INTs in the Buffalo game.

And Brady was never on offense up that much.

You know this?

10 points off of Brady turnovers? How does he get a pass and Romo doesn't?
