Giants CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has faced Romo 6 times. Here's how he fared in those games. Let's hope he plays

All right Tony, DRC wears #21. You know who to go after.

Plus, isn't DRC injured?

Most of that is Dez too. He just cannot cover Dez.

Even when The ball wasn't thrown Dez' way, he's got DRC beat 50% of the time (which is horrible) and when he is well covered Dez makes a highlight reel grab. The one handed catch on the sideline, the diving td catch, the 80 something yard reception, the catch and bulldoze to the endzone.

I would love for DRC to line up across from Dez.

DRC with a back injury is a disaster waiting to happen. If he can't go, they have to trot out Hosley or Zack Bowman. They can't be comfortable with that prospect.

DRC's father and I are great friends. We have a national championship ring together so I'm a little partial to him but the word I have is he's going to try and play but they are not optimistic about him finishing the game. They are absolutely very nervous about their depth.

I *always* worry about this version of the Giants, but this game is getting progressively more gift-wrapped for us as the week goes on. They're really hobbled, and they're just not all that good to start out with. Fingers crossed that we handle business like we can and send a message here, using a team that desperately deserves to have an example made of it.

Super-cool about your and DRCs father, btw. I want a national championship ring.

If he doesn't go, or can't go long, the reason they're nervous is because it's going to force that Hosley kid, or whatever his name is (It honestly escapes me) into the nickel situations. They'd have Prince and Bowman on the outsides.

based on past peformance i think they might be better off without him. atleast tony and dez won't embarress their starters:)

New York Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, dealing with back and leg issues along his right side, practiced on a limited basis Friday and has been listed as questionable for Sunday's key game against the Dallas Cowboys. Friday was the only day this week that Rodgers-Cromartie was able to practice.

The Giants have, of course, already lost cornerbacks Walter Thurmond and Trumaine McBride for the season due to injuries.

If Rodgers-Cromartie plays, how well and how long will both be things to watch. Rodgers-Cromartie said Thursday that he felt about "60 percent" of his usual self. Zack Bowman would be the likely replacement for Rodgers-Cromartie.

That is awesome DandyDon! Do you mind if I ask what team you played for. Thanks in advance!

I'm wishing DRC plays with those stats I just saw.

DRC is only a factor in the game if he's 100%. He'll be far from that so I'm not worried. The full Cowboys offensive attack should be on all cylinders by air and on the ground.

Hosely is not too bad. Not good, but not too bad.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie makes trip with Giants to Dallas

DALLAS -- Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie traveled with the team to Dallas on Saturday despite missing most of this week's practices with an injury.

Rodgers-Cromartie did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday because of a problem with his right side. It has been called a hamstring, ankle, hip, knee, IT band and back problem at some point in the past few weeks. He has also failed to make it through the team's past two games.

The veteran cornerback did very little at practice on Friday. He was officially listed as questionable, meaning he has a 50-50 chance to play.

Coach Tom Coughlin was taking a wait-and-see approach with him, although he did say the Giants were open to a Rodgers-Cromartie playing despite very little practice time.

If Rodgers-Cromartie does play, it could be in a limited fashion. The Giants have veteran Zack Bowman ready to play and start if necessary.
