A couple of things about Romo Wednesdays...

Does he have to be on the injury report because he is not practicing?

Is any other QB doing this?

Is this a physical thing or an intellectual thing? It seems like physically Romo is moving and throwing better so far this year compared to last year at this time.

Maybe they discovered that an extra day game planning and film watching of our next opponent for Romo is more important than the physical practice?

Maybe I'm just crazy.

His back will never be what it was before all of his injuries.
He does extra core stabilization work and --if it's even possible for him to do more--film study as well.

Probably a good idea to just get used to it. The results have been fabulous.

This plus it limits the torque he places on his back from his throwing motion and I have to believe it also limits the wear and tear on his throwing arm (kind of like managing the number of pitches a pitcher throws....of course that all goes out the window if he is throwing 45 times a game).

It is definitely not mental. He just gives his back a day of rest and works on his core strength.

It has helped his back and, IMO, his arm/shoulder stay fresh.

It is clearly a good idea, so I'm glad they're keeping it going.

I do think he has to be listed on the DNP report, so they'll just list back everytime.
