I am more concerned about that 1st interception mainly because again someone on the opposing defense(Antonio Pierce) knew what play was going to be called. The predictability of this offense is well predictable. Whether it's Ray Lewis saying it last year or the Eagles figuring it out on that Christmas Day game.

I think he read the defense and correctly. THe problem is I think he saw that as one on one with hurd, like I said phillips nearly blended in with the endzone. Once the ball was in the air it was too late.

If it had been one on one the ball was where it was supposed to be, out in front where either hurd gets it or no one.

Again, unfortunately I dont think he saw phillips and I am not making excuses, he really blended in with the friggin endzone.

He may have but that's his job. He has to see him and he has to know before the play where Phillips is. There is no way that he read Phillips prior to the play because if he had there is no way you throw that ball. It was quite clear that Phillips was playing deep and wasn't allowing any deep ball there.

The first one really bothered me too...That was the play where Pierce changed the defense after Romo's audible (By the way, I hear Tony say Omaha so many times in a game - is this a play?)...You just kinda new something bad was going to happen :banghead: He not only missed both receivers but he once again telegraphed where he was going even before it was thrown

BTW, I hate giving credit to the Giants but their defense showed a lot of discipline outside a couple of plays...The communication seems to be quite good and they generally look to hit their assignments perfectly...Not too often can we say that about our D
