AI basically said you're hammered at 0.15:.15 is like 7 beers in 2 hours. Anyone with with a bit of a tolerance isn't affected that much. Still illegal and he should have known better.
At around 0.15 BAC, a typical person is likely to have substantial impairment: noticeably poor balance and coordination, slowed reaction time, impaired judgment, difficulty walking steadily, slurred or less-controlled speech, and significantly reduced ability to drive or perform complex tasks. Some people may also experience nausea, dizziness, emotional volatility, or increasing sleepiness.
One complication is alcohol tolerance. Someone who drinks heavily may look considerably more functional at 0.15 than an occasional drinker, but their driving and cognitive abilities are still substantially impaired. Appearance isn't a reliable indication of BAC.
