I don't think Tony wants to be in an irresponsible guy or a drinker.

I think he's just got some serious back pain and as most men he's too proud to ask for help and was trying to manage it himself the best way he could and it's snowballed up on him and got out a hand.

Now he's kind of forced to get the correct kind of help and come up with some type of solution where hopefully he doesn't have to become a prescription drug addict or an alcoholic but can manage the pain in a way where he can be productive work his job and raise his family

Driving after you've been drinking is bad enough but continuing to drink while you're actually driving it's really compounding the problem.

Then driving recklessly and making improper passes in front of the law surely a recipe for disaster just lucky no one was hurt.

No it isn't silly. What's silly is to make appeals to "pain" and to hypothetical hypocrisy via personal anecdote to make excuses for Romo, or try and shield him from criticism.

I have exactly ZERO remorse for Romo and his "pain" as he freely chose to play in the NFL and was well compensated for it with fame and fortune.

Roasting Romo for drinking, driving, and risking innocent lives is wholly appropriate. He should do time in jail for it.

Yes, it is very silly. Our entire society drinks.
