In my family , that's a sign of disrespect - in the neighborhood I grew up in , that was a sign of disrespect amongst all of us. You didn't do it in front of adults or in the house etc...The catcher wore his hate backwards - that's all.
I know things have changed , but Romo needs to flip that lid forward when in the media interview. He looks like a wiseguy punk. IMO
I'm also not fond of his chick at the game , I don't see T-New doing that. I'm also not fond of him tapping refs on the back and yelling at the lineman etc - Someone needs to tell Tony that he's very much still a nobody in this league.
this isn't the 60s anymore. times have changed

this reminds me of the Iverson ''practice'' thing. practice?..we're talkin about practice?

talkin about a hat here? a.......hat!!! :laugh2:

It was disrespectful in my neighborhood too, and the nuns would throw a fit if they spotted a kid with one a mile away.

But today, I love a backward cap on a good looking man.

It's sexy as hell.

Tony's adorable in his, but it's Ware, T. Curtis, and Aydole who need to really pull that hat brim backward.

and while you're at it, bluedemon, why don't you tell him the story about how you had to walk 15 miles to and from school, in the snow, in 100 degree weather, uphill both ways...

LOL, dragon....Hold down two jobs, take care of his grandparents, play pitch and catch with his brother, (diddle his cousin, oops) volunteer at the Red Cross, polish that fine Studebaker. Jeez those days were swell....

Hey, don't put him down! He did all that walking AGAINST the rotation of the Earth!

Cut him some slack, Jack!

Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And Id like to take a minute just sit right there
Ill tell you how I became the prince of a town called bel-air

In west philadelfia born and raised
On the playground where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys said were up in no good
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said youre moving with your aunte and uncle in bel-air

I whistled for a cab and when it came near the
Licensplate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight
And I yelled to the cabby yo, home smell you later
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To settle my throne as the prince of bel-air

The hat thing is ridiculous. That has been covered. But I can't believe BlueDemon has a problem with Romo yelling at his linemant (a.k.a. leading his team). Unbelievable!

:laugh2: Agreed.

But the next time you put on a cap, I'll bet you at least try it out in the mirror backwards. :)

I must live in the same parrish or be a family member of this dude.

I too believe that a cap is to be worn properly, brim forward, but never indoors. I also believe that a person should properly wear their clothing. I find it appalling when I see idiot kids with their pants below their butts, and their *** showing. Shirt tales should always be tucked in, and a belt should be worn. A person should also be well groomed, hair combed, facial hair trimmed and overall well dressed and groomed.

I know people will say that times change and this is the way kids dress now. But it is still stupid. I refuse to allow my kids to dress in this sloppy manner.

I give job interviews, and at times see idiots show up dressed in this manner. I can tell you that their chances of getting past this interview is less than 1%.

As my dad used to tell us, "always be well dressed and groomed, yo never know who you will meet or come across. First impressions are very imiportant.

He does look a bit pansyish with it backwards. Other than that I could care less.
