Does anyone know what he saw down the field? He looked very frustrated/angry about that, and i got the feeling that he had a big play available.

I wondered the same thing. Will probably have to wait for someone with the All 22 to let us know, unless someone was at the game...or maybe Broadus or one of those guys will say something.

No, but there were 5 defenders underneath/rushing, so 6 vs 4 deep. Assuming man coverage, I can tell from where #26 comes in after the fumble that Witten ran a crossing route as did Williams from where #31 showed up. I can only surmise that they flooded a deep zone with Beasley and Bryant (or Williams/Witten drew a deep guy up while crossing), and the throw would have gone to empty space for Bryant or Beasley to go get with a defender trailing.

Romo's arm was going forward too while holding the ball, so it wasn't a fumble, but I can sort of, kinda let the failure by the automatic review guy go because the defender's arm affected the pass before the ball was knocked out. So what was actually an affected throwing motion was seen as a fumble. It's going forward for 3 frames before it's out of his hand.
