I scanned through the DVR and here was my semi-sober count:

13 incompletions out of 38 throws

1 Thrown into the ground to stop the clock

10 balls that hit receivers in both hands or in their chest but were dropped or deflected into interceptions

2 Completely uncatchable (but maybe deliberate throw-aways?)

Drops are going to happen, but there were more than usual last night

Amazing how well distributed the drops were. These are the ones I can now remember:
Hurd: 1
Witten: 1?
Ogletree: 1
Barber: 1
Crayton: 1
Williams: 2
Bennet: 1
(EDIT) Austin: 1

Some of those guys have been dropping footballs all season long. Roy, Bennett and even Crayton and Witten have been dropping footballs.

I'm confident about Sundays game. But I'll tell you this, if we drop half this many balls, we will lose.

The last handful of games he could have had several more completions in each game if not for dropped passes.

Actually, this wasn't just a Dallas problem. Dropped passes seemed to be the norm yesterday from most of the games I watched. Don't remember seeing so many in one day.

Which abll did Ogletree drop? The only one I can think of was a very low throw that O-tree tried to scoop off the turf. Was there a pass that hit him in the chest and he dropped or are you referring to the low pass I mentioned?

Maybe we remember the play differently. Yes it was a low pass but Ogletree as I recall got both hands on it (or a hand and a shoulder pad) and should have caught it IMO.

A lot of times qbs throw those balls low to keep them away from defenders. I like Tree a lot but think he could of and should of caught that one. But maybe the problem on that one was Tony's throw. That's just my recollection and opinion.

If you just reviewed the game, I'm sure your recollection is better than mine, I was just trying to figure out if it was as bad as Roys drops, but I'm not sure any could be worse than the one he dropped at NO last week or the one that bounced off his chest this week. Those were inexcusable imo

Crayton got absolutely demolished on his "drop". I'm sure he was thanking Romo for leading him into that hit on the way back to the sideline.

True...but that's always a risk when you are going over the middle. It wasn't thrown overly high or anything.

I certainly don't fault Crayton for not catching that pass. I'm just saying romo did put it in his hands.

As we all know---there should have been a penalty on that play.

Correct. I remember it well--first half. I just missed it in my post. Good call.

I definitely wouldnt categorize the incomplete to OT as a drop. That was a bad pass that he had a chance to make a great play on but it wasnt a drop.

I also dont think I would Call Crayton getting a fore arm shiver to the helmet a drop.

A drop is a ball that is going to be caught normally in my opinion not one that is going to take an extraordinary effort to catch and hang onto. The balls Roy Williams missed were clear drops, he was open and had the ball just go right through his hands.

Cold weather probably had something to do with more drops than usual last night.

I thought that ball skipped off the turf as well.

He was, but I think that was due to ripples in spacetime traveling back in time to just prior to impact. The hit was that hard.

I don't think Ogletree dropped the ball. I thought the throw was low. Romo was under heavy pressure and had to get it out quickly.

Anyway, Ogletree was wide open on the play. That is a plus. Ogletree gets open.
