went 60 yards in the air

As someone who has been a bit concerned about his arm strength at times this year, I wouldn't have thought he could still get it that far. There were also a few lasers late in the game, the Dez TD especially. Bodes well I think for him going forward.

I wasn't concerned about his arm strength since the 70 yard bomb to Otree in the ATL game.

Through 13 games:

Team Passer Rating
to all receivers except
Ogletree/Beasley/Harris
95.2

2011
Team Passer Rating
to all receivers except
Robinson
93.9

If he could have layed it out a little more and had a little less air on it Harris had his man beat. Just about another foot further harris is walking in for a td

Romo has ALWAYS had a lot of zip on his passes. He doesn't air it out often, but I don't think that's indicative of a lack of arm strength.

if he was not running for his life he would have been able to connect on that one...

the trajectory would have been there.

Wish Harris should have did a better job fighting for that catch or at the very least, preventing it from being picked off.

the way moorman was punting?

Yeah after the pass was incomplete Romo was making some motion toward Harris. Perhaps encouraging him to push off for positioning?

According to Brad Sham it floated a looooong time (like a punt). If he put some zip on the ball, it could have been a TD since the WR had 10 yards on the defender.

He was scrambling which affected his ability to make a stronger throw there.
The line holds up he would of thrown it sooner. This had more to do w/ the pass protection.

I watched that ball float from the upper deck. Int was right in front of me. Wr did have a step on defender but pressure kept the zip off the ball. It was better than the punts we got today.

Harris was as fault for that, I was hoping Beasly would see more snaps

Moorman was under duress all day, he had his punts partially blocked on at least 2 occasions. Tanner and the ST protection was pure crap.

Yea there was no way to have more zip on the ball with the way Romo was dodging defenders. I thought it was a good play regardless of the outcome. And you hate to say that about turnovers and I don't believe long int's are like "punts" but in that case it served as one. Especially with the way Moorman was playing. I was just happy he didn't take the sack.

Not sure many QBs are getting that one far enough to out there after holding the ball for as long as Romo did.

The only way that becomes a TD is if the throw is gotten off a lot earlier.

I thought he wanted Harris to come towards him.
