Haven't seen a thread on it, I apologize if I missed it. It didn't look like a good throw - for the first part of the game, Romo didn't have much zip on any of his throws, they tended to float.

But it looked like the WR screwed up there? I think there were 2 guys running deep at the same place, which is never the correct route. Neither guy seemed to be looking back for the ball. Did Wade or Romo comment on it?

It was a horrible throw. He has about 2-3 of them per game. But he balances it out with about 20 really good plays and 4-5 jaw-dropping plays.

Now I could be wrong but I think Romo was throwing off of his back foot (one trait he could improve on), rather than firmly planted front foot. Whenever he does this, he won't have much of zip on the ball and has a greater chance of being inaccurate pass.

Romo is a gunslinger ..... this will happen from time to time.

honestly, it looked to me as if TO decided not to challenge the DB for the ball and avoid the collision and that is why Tony was pissed. I am sure I am over-analyzing though :)

Heck we all are over-analyzing this one, when as a whole, he had a great game with both his arm and legs.

Most definitely - WR or not, that ball floated forever. As soon as it left his hand I thought "INT."

Maybe I am imagining this, but I said to my wife after the throw, "Watch, he will be lights out for the rest of the game." For some reason, I think Tony plays much better after interceptions that are his fault. He seems to get more focused. Anyone else notice this?

The offense, particularly Romo, tends to come out early out of sync in games. After 2-3 offensive series, they tend to heat up...

On that throw, there was nothing there, a clear force from Romo...easy INT

Yeah-I noticed he's one tough cookie-he doesn't get rattled after mistakes et al.

The one weakness he has shown this year in my opinion is his inaccuracy on touch passes down the sidelines.

Crayton or TO ran the wrong route. No way Tony threw that kindof pass on purpose.
You're probably right. If Tony were a mere human, he might have made a mistake, but we all know that he's not.

There were 2 receivers in the same area, and the look on Tony's face made you think someone didn't know where they were supposed to be.

He still underthrew the ball, regardless of who was where.

Regardless of the WR running the correct rout or not it was a poor pass and he should have thrown it away. No big deal all QB's have their share of bad pass overall Romo makes very few bad throws.

You guys are right. It was a mistake all the way around. Two receivers should never be that close together and Tony should never have thrown the ball.
