Help me finish cooking it.

I watched it last night, and honestly, I thought it was awesome. Be honest with yourselves - who here wouldn't give their left n-arm to get on stage with a pseudo-80s-metal band and sing Journey? If that doesn't get you going, you ain't living.

But, I was amazed at the video compilation there. Almost like the whole thing was staged with Mr. Belding and Tony Romo look alikes. It wasn't just one guy with a camera phone. There were about 10 different camera angles all sinc'd together. What the heck? Was this a video shoot for this metal band? What was going on with that?

I couldn't find the other "Romo video" threads, and this is a slow day, so I just thought I'd put it out there.

Can't post a link to the video, but you can search for it on y-tube, or PM me for a link.

It was definitely Romo... no look-alike. It was the real McCoy.

Also, if you watched him on NFL Network recently, he was wearing the exact same pink shirt, so he must have done that while on the same trip.

On a side-note, he wasn't that bad of a singer... sadly, I remember Steve Perry singing Don't Stop Believin at the Red Sox victory parade a couple years ago, and Perry sounded MUCH worse than Romo. Very sad what time does to a person. :(

I finally got to see the video, ... what is the big deal?

Truly, what is the problem?

I am 53 yrs old, and would be considered an old fuddy-duddy by today's youth, but I didn't see anything wrong at all with what Tony did.

I think he handled the whole thing pretty well, .. except he can't sing.:lmao2:

But let's be honest, nobody can sing like Steve Perry.

That was just a joke, about the stand ins - that was CLEARLY Mr. Belding, too, working the crowd to the SBTB themesong.

I just can't figure out how this was such a professional job.

This is from a club in LA that's been in vogue for awhile. The band, Metal Skool, is either the house band, or something like that. Their shtick is they get these celebs up to do an karaoke-type thing, and it's all taped, they all know it, it's no secret what the place is about.

Awesome. I'm watching the Kelly Clarkson one with the lead from YellowCard. Hilarity.

Wow...the life of an NFL QB...! That was a pretty funny video, at least to me...

Yeah, Romo needs to stick to throwing footballs...leave the singing to Hutch...!

I have yet to understand what the big deal is about Romo signing at a Karaoke bar? Even if he stunk people do it for the fun of it, I doubt Tony is going to give up his day job for a career as a singer. :laugh2:

It's not a big deal. However, it does let you get a little peek into Romo's life outside of football...

And, those chicks were hot! Nothing like tight fitting jeans on a hot girl!!

I get up and sing karaoke every chance I get...it's a hoot!

So now we know he is a football playing, golf swinging, poor singing and a single guy who hangs out with good looking women. Damn not a bad life to have. :lmao2:
