Romo's public perception level is entering Delhomme levels

I don't see his comments ecept occassionally second hand and the we save each other a lot of time by not going back and forth on tis all the time when there is no chance of changing the perceptions.

I was curious out that comment about always turning it over in the redzone. I bet he had fewer redzone turnovers this year than almost anyone. I'm sure he must have had one or two, but I can't recall any.

Like you said, the guy just flat out makes stuff up at times.

He is truly an interesting guy. What's funny is you can look at his posting history and see that he wasn't always like this... heck, in fact I would say he used to even be optimistic. But something changed him into the miserable fan he is today with a 100 to 1 ratio of pessimistic/optimistic posts. Heck, probably more like 1000 to 1.

I went and looked it up.
One in the redzone (18 yard line) vs Chicago.

Which is the one that I think hit Otree in the chest.

Romo played incredibly well considering the circumstances this year.

If we are, the number is probably equal to the number of 4 TD 0 INT games you're "forgetting".

But you're talking "big games", not cherry picking regular season games. What, he can't EVER make a mistake now? In any game? Do some of you Romo haters even believe the stuff coming out of your own mouth? Even Tom Brady makes anywhere from 6-10 boneheaded plays in a year, and that's in a good season. How many did he make in the AFC title game alone?

I guess Quincy Carter was right. If he were never to have got cut, Romo would have never, ever seen the football field in Dallas.

20 years from now Romo will be remembered as one of the biggest chokers ever and Delhomme won't be remembered at all.

You are reinforcing what I said, if nobody will remember Delhomme for winning a SB then not even his wife would remember him if he were labeled a choker, by that you are implying that Romo did something better in the NFL than Delhomme ever did in that he was a good enough QB to be remembered by fans 20 years from now, if not, nobody would remember this choker you talk about.
By the way Romo´s story hasn´t been written yet although he certainly hasn´t done much to forget the choker label almost everybody puts on himbut at least he still has time to change it.

yep i forgot the fumble against tampa, i actually dont even remember did we recover that or did they? was that the play where bennett drilled him?

and yep i forgot the play jpp made, thats just a freakish play by a tremendous player, tip your hat to jpp. Just like the ware int of vick in 06.

When the team wins, it is Romo all day long that won the game.

When they lose, it is the defense, a dropped pass, the kicker, the coach. Anything but Romo.

Now I do not think everything Romo does is his fault. I think some of the plays we've seen where he has a turnover were the direct result of his teammates not understanding the audible and being in the wrong spot. Or the line not protecting.

I have stated this over and over.

But just think back to the Jets opener last year. Clearly Romo fumbled within the shadow of the goal line, and then threw a pick right to Revis to give the Jets a shot at winning. Which they did.

And coming to this place there was a large group of people that actually stated the blocked punt lost the game, even when the pick to Revis came after.

It is this that makes me question the objectivity of some of the fans here about this player.

I love having Romo on this team. And if they can assemble a team, around him that allows him to flourish, then I think the results will be much closer to what we want than what we are getting now.

But he is not absolved of every mistake by calling out the defense or other offensive players.

And like the idea that some are really negative and it is getting old, the notion that St. Romo is above the fray when it comes to culpability is also growing long white whiskers with some of us.

This knife of getting old cuts both ways, and has for Romo since he relieved Bledsoe.

I have no problem with this post, AT ALL.

However, the kids that think that the Cowboys team that has been stuck in neutral for so long is because of Romo, that is where I don't agree.

You believe that Romo thinks he's the worst QB in the NFL?

You believe that every Cowboy loss is because of Romo?

You believe that when Romo takes a lead and the defense lets the other team march down and score the win, it's because or Romo?

These are the same guys that complained about him wearing his cap backwards! How stupid is that!

The injuries in the defense that cannot stop a team. Is that because of Romo?

Like Aikman would say, "Get real..."!

Or, TD3, you can put me on ignore because I don't blame everything on Romo for why the Cowboys are an average team right now.
