He says that if "they keep working at the red zone" and learn to "push it in" they will rattle off 5 or 6 in a row. I don't think you can argue with a guy who's been in back to back World series, can you? Meanwhile La Russa thinks the Rams "really could maybe win", and then muttered something about Romo being kidnapped by aliens.

Well, it would be like Phil Jackson predicting the Stars to win the Stanley Cup, wouldn't it?

Not really, now. I think it does go to show that you don't panic being one game below .500 a quarter of the way through the season. Certainly the Cardinals represent that point. But hey fire the coach again, makes good drama if nothing else.

That's the way (football) go.

I'm hoping for a St. Louis sweep Sunday.

Go Rangers and Cowboys!

I won 100 bones last night on the Ranger game...

;)

I agree with him. Cowboys will win 9 of their last 11 games, win the NFC East and win at least one playoff game IMO probably two.

Sweated that one out I guess.

I did not watch the game...I was in a pool.

;)

Baseball sucks (and I used to play that game all the way through college)

Did he really? That's funny, if true.

I feel the same. Unless my team (NYY) are playing I can't stand to watch it.

I'm a Yankee fan too. My father is 78 and has been a Cards fan since he was 8, so I'm pulling for them for sentimental reasons. But something tells me they're gonna regret letting last night's game slip away.

If our red zone offense was even marginally effective, we'd be in MUCH MUCH MUCH better shape.

I love how our local teams are supporting each other these days...

Dirk sending inspirational tweets to Romo... Dirk attending Rangers playoff games and even throwing out the first pitch... Now Ron Washington showing his support for the Cowboys...

I think that Dirk and the Mavs really started all this with their improbable championship run... Dirk seems to be a true fan of all the local teams, and given the skins that he (and Washington for that matter) have on the wall, I think their sentiments could have some effect on the team...

It's not that bad if you record it and fast forward through a lot of it. But a 4 hour game is painfully slow for sure.

A sweep is going to be extremely difficult at this point considering the series is tied 1-1... just sayin.

I'm pretty sure he meant a sweep for the day. Rams/Cardinals.
