Now of course we would have little to no interest in him, but his availability could maybe affect the NFC East.

"The National Football Post's Michael Lombardi hears that Ronnie Brown could be available for the right price.

Brown's Pro-Bowl selection last season was a joke. Still, it's hard to blame him for gaining 50 rushing yards in just seven games last season when he was coming off ACL surgery and splitting time with Ricky Williams. He's a long shot to get traded. "

Arizona needs a RB and Miami needs a WR and Boldin has expressed interest in Miami. So it could be Ronnie Brown plus picks to Arizona and keeping Boldin out of the NFC East and NFC all together..

my pops just heard on the radio that the Cards traded Boldin to the Dolphins for Brown and a 2nd round pick...

Those darn Miami beach residents get all the news fast!

I was in tampa for the last few days, and a guy who went to indiana and is really close to bob knight who's close to parcells said the dolphins were willing to trade pennington and brown for cutler, but no draft picks. I think brown could be traded, because he's coming up on the last year of his contract.

I don't see Parcells trusting Williams so I'd say unless they know they can get another RB then Brown won't be traded. My guess is Parcells thinks he can go with a stable of backs, trade Brown for a second, get rid of a contract year, draft and groom a quality back and spend the money elsewhere.

Boldin is a Parcells/Sparano type of player for sure.

Ya, I don't know it just makes too much sense. I really don't see them resigning Ronnie Brown after this year and they might want to spend the money they would resign Ronnie with on Boldin instead. Not a bad idea since RB's like Ronnie are fairly easy to find. I would pull the trigger in a heart beat.

There are a lot of players a lot of teams should trade for. And whom has whom, in our division, I don't care. It just means we have to be better, which isn't that always the case, anyway?

There are enough star players to go around for everyone, what's lacking is the coaching. Tell me some big name, successful coach just became Head Coach for the Commanders though, and I don't care who they have playing on that team at the time, my ears perk up.

Last year we had Romo, TO, Witten, Barber, Ware, Newman and many many more who had just made the pro bowl the year before, but in the end did it mean anything without the coaching required to put it together? It literally didn't matter what envy or fear another team originally may have had looking at our opening day 2008 roster.
