Her voice was synonymous with the "Wall of Sound" created by musical genius, her husband and total lowlife, Phil Spector, that Mutt Lange would later apply to produce Def Leppard in two of the most successful albums of all time.

Think about the limitations of the time, AM radio and mono and they created that sound that literally leapt out of the radio and into your ears. Only when you got to listen to the LP in stereo did you truly appreciate that sound.

AM radio back then did not play songs back to back but if they had, most artists would have requested their songs not be played following a "Wall of Sound" production because of the contrast in sound.

Ronnie Spector and Martha Reeves deserve their own special place in the HOF.
