Wow - that is pretty cool.
Just about all the way to second round are getting $1 million signing bonus or higher gurantees.

Going off 2009 that is.

Based on the 2009 figures, we should be expecting the rookies to be signing around:

Bryant = 24 Atlanta Peria Jerry - DT 5 year $13.25 million contract, $7.55 million guaranteed

Lee = 55 Atlanta William Moore - S 4 year undisclosed contract (54 Minnesota Phil Loadholt - OT 4 year $3.44 million contract, $1.675 million contract, $1.2 million signing bonus)

AOA = 126 Oakland Slade Norris - LB 4 year $2.191 million contract, $441,000 signing bonus Waived

Young = 179 Cincinnati Morgan Trent - CB 4 year $1.75 million contract, $112,000 signing bonus

Wall = 196 St. Louis Keith Null - QB 4 year undisclosed contract (195 Cleveland James Davis - RB 4 year $1,849,250 contract, $99,250 signing bonus)

Lissemore = 234 New England Darryl Richard - DT 4 year undisclosed contract Waived (between 232 New England Julian Edelman - WR 4 year $1.7987 million contract, $48,700 signing bonus and 235 Detroit Zack Follett - LB 3 year $1.221 million contract, > $35,600 signing)

Thanks. I would think Bryant would try for a larger signing bonus or gurantees.

rookies generally don't have that sort of leverage. Anything he gets extra basically comes out of the contracts of the teams other picks. Also, if we give Bryant more then it screws the slotting for all the teams ... the teams ahead of us would have trouble signing their guys b/c we'd given a lower pick more money than he should have gotten.
