Looking at the defensive roster, ya have to be encouraged. Parsons and Ohdiggy are playing great ball. Adding Gallimore to the line when he comes back is gonna make life hell for opposing offenses from the line perspective. The safety depth is the best in a long time. LVE and Jaylon are both balling at the LB spot so, with Parsons, Neal and Jabril Cox we are loaded there, too.
Our one glaring weakness is Anthony Brown at the second corner. He did play better against the Chargers but he is definitely the weakest link on the defense. Could you imagine if Joseph becomes even an above average corner when he comes back? Or if Nashon Wright shows what he did in camp? This defense will be scary good and, coupled with the high powered offense, we could definitely make some noise in the upcoming playoffs. No team is gonna wanna face us, for sure.
McCarthy has quietly built a team that has real promise. Add the unpredictability of all three units and the Cowboys are gonna be fun to watch this year. Let's Go Cowboys!!!

It’s always important that rookies develop in the cap era
Even if they are equal to a vet, they are cheaper which allows you to spend somewhere else
I’m not as sold on dline as some
The chargers ran for 5.0 per carry but stopped running
You can’t give up 5.0 yards a carry
The saving grace has been turnovers and the offense holding the ball and scoring which keeps some teams from sticking to the run
But if a couple of the young CB can be as good as Lewis/brown then at the very least you’ve got equal talent at a lower cost. If one can be better then you really have something

Post again week 9 and lets do a halfway test. Until then the bandwagon stays at the station with this bunch of avg Joes.

Bandwagon has already left the station, don't get left behind. Number six coming soon!!!

If you really break it down, cornerbacks in general are the key to football and arguably in life itself.

Lost me when you said jaylon is balling.

So if I'm a Dallas Cowboys DBs coach or head coach, I'd have to ask ourselves some questions, and I'll pose this question to the board as well.
Is Brown better than Canady, Nahshon, or Boss man? What about Lewis, is he better than the 3? And then move accordingly.

Jaylon led the team in tackles against the Chargers. And they weren't downfield. I think that both LVE and Smith are playing much better because there is actual competition now. The lack of reps in the first game put them on notice

Wish they would give Canady a chance
There's gotta be a reason Canady is not playing. Not sure if outside corner is is strong suit so maybe that's it. Lewis is playing well, too, so there's not much chance at nickel

LVE I see making some plays. Jaylon sucks. And yah, most were downfield like they always are. linebackers typically lead their team in tackles its where that tackles are that matter.

Jaylon is a liability and needs to be off the field.

I think we need him definitely. Too many injuries we need the rotation. He’s gaining confidence. But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t mind trading him to a team like.Oakland

Joseph has the talent to be a great CB if he can get get his head straight

Wright will be lucky to be on the team next year

BTW: Jaclyn is straight trash

It's the corners and the pass rush, where they go hand and hand. Really need Gregory to step up this season.
